Feng Shui Audit Advice: Part 2 – The Formulas

Continue….

In this second advice that he dispensed to the students, he mentioned that the compilation of almost 1000 formulas in the Feng Shui and that one should never rush his consultant or master for a diagnosis.

Usually, you will find the San Yuan, San He, Bazhai, Dong Gong Date selection, Xuan Kong Da Gua, Dragon 8 Gate etc…in practice.

This problem causes confusion to the students.

  • What if Formula A says good while Formula B says bad? Which one do you follow?
  • Why using 1 formula is inadequate to tell the house?
  • Do you use formula A for external while formula B for internal of the house and Formula C for placing the stove?
  • Is more the merrier?

I think the more formula, the more is the confusion as well.

So guys….I call this the Mix and Match System. I would suggest that if the 1 feng shui system cannot tell the house, then something is not right. Perhaps it sells better in a package as students will like it for the fees that they have paid for. Really I think today’s “Feng Shui practioners” are creative people, masters of packaging…

I advocate the One System! One system is enough to tell you what will happen in the house and precribe the solution.

the one system

While I agree that one should not rush the consultants for a solution but yet authentic feng shui practitioners can already tell about the house by the first few minutes of the audit.

Just the last Feng shui course, by day 4, when we were at the office of 1 of the student on a live audit, students can already tell a couple of things about the Feng Shui of the office and what will happen and even which staff will give the most problem.

Why would you need a few days to come back to the client to tell about the office? One should be able to tell something after a while. It all depends on the depth of one system and not the breath.

If you really want to help your clients, please do them a favor, get the right depth!. The One System.

Feng Shui Audit Advice – Part 1: The Spaghetti

Today while I was browsing YouTube, I typed the word Feng Shui and click search. Wow! the results was very interesting with Feng Shui videos ranging from all kinds of topics from Basics to drawing your bagua line till cleansing! They were all rather entertaining. They were not the best yet till I finally saw a video of a Celeb Master bringing some students to some Feng Shui Excursion where he was explaining how to perform Feng Shui Audit.

So to cut the boring stuff short, I gist it out some of the points which I felt funny.

Advice 1: The first and foremost step is to read the Bazi of all family members living or going to live in that house. He said that if the bazi is short of wealth then we have to activate wealth to improve wealth or the other 2 likely issues that most people would have is sickness and relationship issues. All in all the point is Bazi is diagnosis while Feng Shui is the prescription.

Then he went on to say “Feng Shui can only create results if you define what the results are…”

My Funny Thoughts : What if I can have all three (wealth, relationship & health) why would I choose one? or if a person’s bazi has no indication of health issue, can that person be “OK” to sleep in a “sickness” room or direction? or place the sick person in a “healing” sector like Tian Yi? Ha! then all ICU must be in the Tian Yi sector or is there any statistics to say that some sectors of hospitals has better recovery rate while in other sectors, patients mortality rate is high?

What if the couple has potential relationship issues in the Bazi is the Feng Shui solution to place them in a “romance” room. What if the romance is with an external party ? Would we be accelerating the so call relationship problem indicated in the Bazi?

What is the real relationship between Bazi and Feng Shui? Is it really a diagnostic tool versus a prescription?

Spaghetti

I would use a plate of Spaghetti to explain it since my friend is very good in making spaghetti & I have gotten some tips from him.

Let me put it this way, Bazi I would equate it to the noodle while Feng Shui the sauce. The spaghetti is what I call Life. Life comprise of many ingredients or you can say many components.

What makes one plate of Spaghetti greater compared to another?

It could be both the noodles and the sauce was in perfect match.

It could be the noodle was great but the sauce was a little too salty.

It could be the sauce was perfect but the noodle was still a little raw.

That is the reality of life  isn’t it?

That is how I would see Bazi and Feng Shui as both are independent components of life but yet both are required to work in harmony to bring the best out of life and not trying to compensate each other.

If you were to believe that Bazi is diagnosis while Feng Shui is prescription then it would have been like this:

If the sauce is too salty, you add more noodles or soften the noodles more?

If the noodle is a little raw, heat up the sauce more or add some chilies to cover up the raw taste?

You decide…but I would think this is one way to get the students to attend the Bazi course. Great! learnt something.

“Feng Shui can only create results if you define what the results are…” I think this is more of Positive Affirmations than Feng Shui. I don’t think the Qi is that smart to understand this. Every night before the couple sleeps, they have to “define” to the room or bed that this romance sector is meant for both of them and not with 3rd party. Mr Qi are you listening?

I may be wrong …but my take is that the longer you “soak” yourself in that kind of Qi, you will become like the character of the Qi… Just like if you mix with a particular person a lot , you will somehow mimic him someway or other 🙂

So what and how is REAL Feng Shui ? To be continued…Part 2 – The Formulas

Monthly Flying Stars – Jan 2013

On 5th Jan, just after 5 days entering the new year of 2013, we will cross into the Gui Chou Month which is also the last month of the Solar Calendar for the year of Water Dragon.

Here is the Chart and this will be the last Chart for this series. After Li Chun 立春 there will be a new format!

Jan 2013

As you can see San Sha goes to the East this month while the 5 Yellow Star flies to the West sector.

With this 2 charts used in combination with your house Natal Chart, you should be able to tell what is coming to the house. So if you have sickly people recuperating in the house it will be better to move out if you are staying in the SE sector.

There are some masters that is now saying that the New Chinese Year now begins in the Winter Solstice or Dong Zhi, 冬至 instead of Li Chun. This is not true in Feng Shui because we are using Li Chun, 立春 for thousands of years to mark the change of Qi within the Solar Calendar System. Dong Zhi may be the beginning grow of Yang Qi as they claim but the Qi is not usable till Li Chun.

Li Chun marks the beginning of Spring where things starts to grow after months in hibernation during the Winter. As such the year begins in the Li Chun on Yin 寅 month and so does the demarcation of your Ming Gua.

So if they had understand how the usage of Sundials, how Early Heaven Bagua was formed and how they are integrated into Feng Shui Applications surely this mistake will not happen.

Many self learned masters & modern students are too keen into application but have neglected the study of proper fundamentals resulting in errors, errors that could bring chaos to other people’s life. Life in the “instant noodles” age.

What Was in 2012…What’s Coming in 2013 ?

2012 has been a fun year for us and me in particular. We have launched our Flying Star courses in Kuala Lumpur by CAFS Certified Instructor and it has been really fun and fullfiling to receive student’s feedback on the course as well some of the cases they were not able to understand before now understood. So Knowledge is priceless but I say real knowledge is really priceless. I always remind myself this phrase, 明师出高徒  & not 名师出高徒.[Great Master produces Great Students & not Famous Master producing Great Students]. I am glad I chose the former.

Master Leyau also has launched his signature course San Yuan Qi Men Dun Jia, a course not known well by other masters. What is found in books are only at a superficial level but Master Leyau has such proficiency in this subject that students can observe the intended “phenomena” in Date Selection thus completing the study of San Yuan School of Feng Shui.

Yes PSY became famous overnight with his Gangnam Style.

Year of the Ren Chen has also brought along some challenges to me personally but thankfully I have managed to overcome it. The lesson I learnt is that apart from having good feng shui, human’s must earnestly put in real effort and with a positive mindset, things will turn out fine. I also thank my friends/colleauges/subordinates who had stood by me.

2013 Snake

Coming 2013…we shall continue to teach the real art of Xuan Kong Flying Star in Kuala Lumpur/Malacca. We also plan to bring back a few other courses back to Malaysia depending on our limited time and resources. We will announce in due time so keep coming back for updates.

As for me, I shall continue to improve on things that I have neglected in 2012. The list is long but please bear with myself…haha…Humans by nature is resistant to change.

Last but not least, I would like to thank Master Leyau & my friends in CAFS & Students whom have made my journey a very memorable one. In our journey of life & quest for true knowledge, what is better than having a good company to share and go along?

Tonight while people are counting down, I am posting to the arrival of 2013…haha..Cheers!

Education Success, Can Flying Star Achieve it?

Just received a call from a client I did early this year. One of the thing she was concerned is that of her son’s PMR examination.

She was elated that he got straight A’s.

Such is the ability of Flying Star if one knows how to use it. How to Feng Shui a house for Education Luck?

There are 2 good stars for education in Flying Star but not always they are usable so as a consultant you must be able to evaluate how and when it can be effective.

Not all flying star knowledge are “born” the same. 🙂

What a nice piece of news for me to end 2012! Cheers! Good night.

Cure for Bad Marriage Bazi

If you have less that fortunate marriage life, here are 9 points to help you regain that happy life. It is Possible.

Bazi tell you what problems you will have but you are the solution to your problems. Don’t believe what other tell you about short cuts or how wonderful their feng shui master has done miracle. Life there is no short cut.

1. Avoid the next quarrel. Never lose temper and it is ok to say “I am Sorry”.

2. Don’t expect perfection from your wife/husband. Learn to accept them as they are. Life is imperfect anyway.

3.  Be a good listener. Think before you speak. You are the master of unspoken words but slave of spoken words.

4. Be a good forgiver. Most people forgive conditionally, forgiveness should be complete and unconditional.

5. Grow in the spirit of humility. Be humble, ego brings arrogance that separate lives.

6. Learn the art of appreciation. Be quick to appreciate, be slow to criticize. Appreciate while one is alive for after life is for us to let go just like the dust dissappering in the wind.

7. Don’t argue. Learn to win love and affection rather than arguments.

8. Develop a healthy sense of humor. Learn to laugh and be cheerful even if things don’t go your way. So learn to laugh with others and not at others.

9. Always lend a helpful hand. Offer without asking, miracles does happen.

Make this your 2013 resolution if you truly want to improve your marriage life.

Merry Christmas and Dong Zhi…

Here is one nice song for you…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBmAPYkPeYU

Feng Shui of Hyatt Hotel Singapore…Controversies or Confusion ?

As I prepare for the upcoming course in Kuala Lumpur, I came across some case studies that I suddenly thought of the Hyatt Singapore.

Many feng shui articles had been written about this Famous Hotel in Singapore in Scott/Orchard Road. Why this hotel shot to fame in the feng shui domain?

It all started by one of our Grand Master Hong Chuan who corrected the Feng Shui of this hotel and resulted in business growth after the audit. You can read more about this in internet.

But what prompted me to write about it now? I have read just too many comments about the feng shui of Hyatt and while today my aim is not to explain the feng shui of Hyatt, I just want to make corrections to a few vastly mistaken facts about feng shui and methods know only to our lineage, the Wu Chang lineage and not as what was written by those who do not belong to our lineage.

Seriously, you cannot comment on something you don’t know and I feel this is irresponsible when they try to downplay  Grand Master’s work.

Here I shall quote several statements and my comments on it.

Many say it is Castle Gate theory as done by Master Hong Chuan. This is not true. This is a method called Door Tilting but not many knows how it works actually though many practitioner tries to use it. And that is not my slipper.

Some even say it is from the San He 5 Ghost carry Treasure. Master Hong Chuan is San Yuan practitioner as his master is Master Yen Pen who did all the cases in the classic book of Er Zhai Shi Yan and Zhai Yun Xin An. Undoubtly, many master has this book in their homes but how many can fully interpret it? But still it is grand to have this book on the shelf!

Master Yen Pen is the student of Tan Yang Wu, our Great Grand Master from the Wu Chang Sect. How can someone just twist facts just to get fame and students!!! Wu Chang belongs to San Yuan School and this is clear!!!

Another author was saying that the original door was facing straight out to the road and that the reception desk was looking out directly to the road and cause wealth to leak out. Obviously, this person does not practice Flying Star Feng Shui. Jiang Da Hong said in the book Ba Zhai Tian Yuan Fu, ‘…to truly understand the 8 houses, you must understand the 9 numbers in the 9 palaces’.

Then a famous master from Hong Kong gave his diagnosis that the poor business was caused by bad Water star 8 at the door and Water 7 was trapped in the center. He then said that Master Hong Chuan tilted so the business is good during Period 7 and 8.  This is again not true. First, he does not understand the rule of the 3 & 5 auspicious in the Wu Chang lineage. Secondly, Master Hong Chuan had advice that by 1984 the feng shui has to corrected again.! This is already a great tip if you truly understand the Art of Door Tilting.

So the guesses goes on…right to even Xuan Kong Da Gua! Speculation after speculation.

To me it is more of a coincidence than real application that someone get good results unless he knows the Art of Door Tilting.

The saying that goes “The Pen is Mightier Than the Sword” is very true. Facts can be just twisted with a stroke of the pen. Generations down the road will learn all the wrong things and twisted history.
