Most business do not use real Feng shui. Some of them do use Feng Shui but as we all know there are many types of Feng shui practices and most of them are quite different from each other.
When a business gets enough bad energy, very soon problems will happen but just a matter of when!. Here is a real case that actually happened in Subang, Selangor, Malaysia.
We went on site to investigate the said store and mapped out the energy chart based on the direction, timing and the land formations. We will not elaborate more on the technicalities but I am sure some of you may know some basic Flying Star should be able to get an idea.
This is a true story of a client who came to see me for his Bazi reading and after the reading he decided to give this “young looking” Feng Shui master a try.
Master first changed his office Feng Shui and the business picked up. Then about a year later he engaged Master Alan to improve his house Feng Shui. Again it worked, as the harmony and overall well being of the family has improved.
One day he confessed that before over the 20 years period, he had engaged no less than 10 Feng Shui masters for both properties but none has produced results for him.
Finding a Good Feng Shui property is a tedious process but an effort well spent. A good and strong Feng Shui will last a long time and the benefits it brings is always surprising.
Those clients of ours will know but most of them is too shy to talk about it publicly. Nonetheless, if you want to know how what it takes to get a Grade A Feng Shui, you may want to watch to this video.

Flying star feng shui has been a too common knowledge in the Feng Shui field to the point there are many variations of it. Some schools of Feng shui also offer them different sets of theory at different times. If you ask the old students they were told to use the Construction date while the newer batch in the last 8 years or so were told to use the Move in date to determine the period of the property. Thus why is that so if they claimed to be a teacher of classical Feng Shui. The word classical could easily have meant above 300 years old so why change after a span of 14 years. Don’t you agree? Doesn’t it says something about the knowledge they possess?
With the commercialization of Feng Shui today, it is no wonder aspiring students faces this dilemma. Do you know the clear answer? You better be very sure because your decision is going to affect your clients! Remember wrong diagnosis, wrong prescription and wrong prescription will lead to wrong outcome!
There are many other examples of half baked knowledge of Feng Shui, thus finding the Right Feng Shui master is really a matter of the the client’s luck in modern days. In the old days it was much easier. Then what about the ability to follow through the advice? It is even harder for most people today to just follow through instructions.
Here is a case where I stumbled upon a unit where it was empty and rented by my client. The door obviously has been Feng Shuied… and upon measurement we found out this:
here is an email send to me for help and with the sender’s permission for education purposes, I republish here with some comments, hopefully will give readers some ideas of what is really Feng Shui all about. Here is Part 1.
Flying Star 2 -5 Combination
I chanced upon your facebook and then went to read your blog on feng shui and flying stars as I am worried about the combination of 5-2 in my master bedroom and a 2-5 combi in my study room. Before we first moved in, my mum recommended her friend who had learnt about fengshui. At that time I didn’t know much about fengshui and not sure of his linage and just follow his advice. He made a drawing on the layout (8 pie & flying stars numbers). I was told he would put the ancient coins at some hidden corners that won’t be visible to us. We later replaced the coins when we consulted another master in 2018 with the ancient coins with the 6 emperor’s names.
My Comments: Very common issue. You can see that there are just too many practitioners out there, cheap but results…..I am not sure. Depends on your luck. If you find a good master, don’t worry about price because the results will cover back all the costs over time and more benefits to come, so why worry if you find a real one ?
Logically, how would the name of the emperors changes the outcome of the solution? I think sometimes while we believe in the unknown, we need to maintain our common sense. Common sense is not really easy to maintain today due to too many misconceptions spreading like Australian bush fire….just too many, too often that even a lie slowly becomes the ‘truth’. Pitiful situation especially in the millennium. I put this responsibility on those fake or misguided practitioners.
Here is a real Retail Feng Shui case explained by Master. A case that was predicted to suffer from the onset and it did materialized a few years down the road. Was it a curse or Feng Shui is predictable because is is one of the key ingredient of any business.? Listen on.
A shop started off as a dessert shop made good progress over last 4 to 5 years. When the business became successful, the owner for some reasons decided to change the business model to selling fried chicken which he thought could be more profitable.
But the business did not survived long and was forced to close not long after. As a Feng Shui practitioner we would naturally wonder why it did not survived despite the door remained as it was, the other layout remained unchanged even up to chairs and tables.
It was the same owner who operated the business as well. So did the Bazi reason come into effect ? Chances are there but it seemed slim.
Is buying an auction house a concern in terms of Feng Shui ? It was one encounter that I think this blog will help those who have concerns upon buying an auction house will involve major reconstruction of the house. Is this always the case?
How can we change the Feng Shui or the energy of the house? Does it has to involve extensive renovation involved a some little “tricks”, we can change the fate of the house?
High Rise is the future trend in property as land is getting scarce. This is very evident in Singapore and Hong Kong where land is really scarce and less. Malaysia is catching up fast too.
I am more familiar with Malaysian and Singapore Feng Shui since I have many clients here.
So the question is, Is High Rise Property less Auspicious compared to landed ? In my book Winds of Change – The Myth and Truth of Feng Shui and Bazi, there is a case about how an little apartment that violated most Feng shui taboos did well after moving it. You can read it out in the book available on Amazon or Kinokuniya in Malaysia.

Feng Shui In Singapore
Since Singapore has the most high rises such as Condominum and HDB apartments, I shall focus my article on the cases I have done in Singapore. Some of them are a redo of famous Feng Shui Masters in Singapore.
To begin with, conceptually Feng Shui for Condominium and Apartment are audited the same way as a landed property except for a few new twist. This kind of Feng shui is more complicated since it is not well documented in the old Chinese Feng Shui Classics. Thus a strong understanding of the concepts of Feng Shui is very important.
A lousy doctor at most kills a patient but a lousy Feng Shui Master can kill the entire family. I will share some short cases below. Stayed tuned.
The 2 usual major complications are how to determine the Facing of the unit and The Period of the unit.
