Business Feng Shui Success Story: When the Right Environment Supports the Right Leadership

Today, I’d like to share another real-life Business Feng Shui success story—one that illustrates how the right environment (a.k.a. Feng Shui) can become a competitive advantage for a business.

This is not a story about magic.

It is a story about leadership, strategy, and how the right Feng Shui can support both.

The Background

This company is a well-established Malaysian-owned enterprise that has been operating successfully for many years.

When the founder passed away, ownership was inherited by his son, who resides overseas. Since he was unable to oversee the company’s daily operations personally, a new CEO was appointed in the second quarter of 2024 to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth.

Like many successful companies, management wanted every possible advantage.

Towards the second half of 2024, they engaged an established and highly recognised Feng Shui consultant to conduct a comprehensive audit of the premises. The recommendations were implemented diligently, including water features, corner remedies, metal enhancements and other Feng Shui activations.

On paper, everything appeared to have been done correctly.

Yet throughout 2025, the company continued to face several challenges.

Although it was recognised as the runner-up in one of the industry’s most prestigious awards and maintained its reputation in AI excellence, the business was still struggling with a long-standing legal dispute and difficulties attracting and retaining key talent.

By the end of 2025, following a major corporate restructuring, I was invited to conduct what I call a Pre-Audit Assessment—essentially an independent second opinion.

One principle I have always believed in is this:

Feng Shui should never be judged by the popularity of the practitioner. It should be judged by whether the methodology consistently produces results.

After reviewing my findings, the CEO immediately decided to proceed with a full Business Feng Shui audit.

A Second Opinion

Towards the end of 2025, the company underwent a major restructuring.

In early 2026, I was invited to conduct what I call a Pre-Audit Assessment—an independent review of the existing Feng Shui before any further decisions were made.

Rather than assuming the previous recommendations were correct, I examined whether the current Feng Shui actually supported the company’s goals and the way the business operated.

After reading my assessment report, the CEO made his decision almost immediately.

The company proceeded with a full Business Feng Shui audit.

The CEO’s Concerns

Interestingly, the CEO wasn’t looking for miracles.

He wanted help with only two matters.

1️⃣ The first was a prolonged legal dispute that had been ongoing for years.

2️⃣ The second was improving the company’s overall performance, particularly its ability to attract, retain and support talented employees.

Those were the only objectives.

One Decorative Candle

During my audit, I identified eight major Feng Shui issues.

Today, I will only reveal one of them.

A decorative candle had been placed in one section of the office.

To most people, it looked perfectly harmless.

However, under the principles of 9 Star Feng Shui, that candle was activating an unfavourable type of Fire 🔥energy.

My recommendation was simple.

Remove the candle.

I also made a prediction.

I told management that employees working in that area were likely experiencing unusually frequent medical leave. 😷

The HR department checked its records.

The findings were exactly as predicted.

That department consistently recorded the highest number of medical leave cases, with staff taking sick leave one after another over an extended period.

Repositioning the CEO

Another priority was the CEO’s office.

Without expensive renovations or major construction work, we redesigned the room by repositioning key elements according to 9 Star Feng Shui principles.

Due to confidentiality agreements, I cannot disclose the actual office layout, but the illustration below demonstrates the overall concept.

Sometimes, relatively small adjustments can produce significant results when they are based on sound principles rather than guesswork.

What Happened Afterwards?

A few months later, I met the CEO for lunch.

He shared several updates.

The first came from the HR department.

✳️ After the Feng Shui adjustments—including the removal of the candle—the number of staff taking medical leave had noticeably declined.

For any business owner, this is more than just a health statistic.

Lower absenteeism means better productivity, reduced medical costs and improved operational efficiency.

The second update was even more encouraging.

✳️ By the end of May, the company’s long-standing legal dispute was finally resolved through an amicable out-of-court settlement.

One of the CEO’s biggest concerns had finally come to an end.

Then came June.

The industry’s annual awards were announced.

✳️ The company that had finished as runner-up the previous year was now crowned the overall winner, overtaking several foreign competitors.

As if that wasn’t enough, the company also received another Gold Award in a separate category.

Within a matter of months, all three areas that management had been concerned about showed meaningful progress:

  • Staff absenteeism decreased.
  • The prolonged legal dispute reached an amicable settlement.
  • The company achieved its best industry recognition to date.

Did Feng Shui Create These Results?

No.

It would be inaccurate to claim that Feng Shui alone wins awards, resolves legal disputes or builds successful businesses.

Success is always the result of capable leadership, talented employees, sound business strategy and consistent execution.

Think about Formula One.

No championship is won solely because of the driver.

Neither is it won solely because of the car.

Victory comes from the combination of the driver, engineers, strategy, pit crew and machine working together.

Business is exactly the same.

Feng Shui is not the driver.

It is not the engine.

It is the environment that allows every part of the organisation to perform more effectively.

The Real Value of Business Feng Shui

Many people think Business Feng Shui is only about increasing wealth.

In reality, its influence extends much further.

A properly aligned workplace can support healthier employees, clearer decision-making, stronger leadership, improved teamwork and greater organisational stability.

If correcting just one misplaced activation could contribute to reducing staff absenteeism, imagine the impact of having an entire workplace designed to support your business objectives.

That is how I view Business Feng Shui.

Not as superstition.

Not as decoration.

But as one of the strategic tools that helps capable businesses perform at their highest potential.
