Feng Shui And Divination

How the World was Fooled with Divination Disguised as Feng Shui?

In my previous article, I have defined the difference between Divination and Astrology. Here I would like to discuss Divination with Feng Shui. Divination is a separate art from Feng Shui but to an unknown person, it seems the same thing. Before I begin lets define them individually.

In Chinese metaphysics, it is divided into 5 categories and hence sometimes referred to as 5 arts of Chinese metaphysics or in short Chinese Five Arts. They are namely:

  1. Divination 卜
  2. Astrology 命
  3. Physiognomy 相
  4. Medicine 医
  5. Mountains 山

Feng Shui falls under physiognomy because it is related to the physical features of the land. What are then the physical features of a land. Well it is simple, just Hills / Mountains & Waters as in Rivers or Lakes. Of course then hills or mountains comes in different sizes and shapes right? Thus ancient scholars define feng shui under Physiognomy which is the same category of palmistry and face reading.

Psychology In Feng Shui

Psychology is the way we think that affects our behaviour and psychology is affected in many ways notably from friends, up bringing, our personal experiences in life.

The mind is divided between subconscious and conscious part. The subconscious part is less obvious to us but it is the deeper influence. The conscious mind is easier to train and re-program because it is obvious to us.

Most of us are not oblivious to the sub-conscious mind.

Psychology is also a part of the law of attraction because what you think or believe in affects our behavior (action). The law of attraction was made famous in the book titled THE SECRET by Rhonda Byre.

It simply says that what you think or conceive, the universe will attract it to us. This becomes what is known as IF YOU BELIEVE, IT WILL HAPPEN or some calls it VISUALIZATION technique. Basically it is the same thing. Even in metaphysics some master calls it “The Sage Mode” but it is all the same thing in essence, just added a tinge of metaphysical touch.

However, psychology is NOT Feng Shui. It is part of the man part of the Trinity of HEAVEN-EARTH-MAN where as Feng Shui belongs to the Earth part of the trinity.

How It Was Masked Into Feng Shui?

It appears in the Feng shui book when you have a figurine placed in certain corners or perhaps some kind of power rings to wear. These are the more expensive items can will cost thousands of dollars to own one. Some practitioners will even add vermillion to so called “activate” it. This is mostly from the Daoist practise.

When To Engage Feng Shui Consultancy?

Don’t buy any house before a feng shui audit. May it be a auctioned house or newly developed scheme, it is very important to qualify it’s feng shui suitability first before any serious negotiation starts.

Buying a house is a huge investment, may it be for your own stay or purely for investing purpose.

If you are buying for your own stay, having good feng shui is vital to for long term wealth and good human relations or health. Since you are going to stay there for long surely you would like a house you feel good and that protects and makes life easier.

Even if you are buying as investment, having good feng shui is also important to your tenants so they will pay up their rental promptly and if they prosper, there you have a ready buyer who is more willing to offer you a good price.

Why is feng shui important before the property purchase? Simple answer!. Feng Shui is a study of landforms to allow humans to tap good energy to help us improve our life. But first, you need to match the property with landforms to have good feng shui.

But when I refer to landforms, I am not only referring to the Green Dragon, White Tiger and etc. I am talking about Yang Zhai (house) landforms. This skills is not understandable to many feng shui consultants and yet so important to the feng shui of the house.

For example, from the master plan, there are some sectors where the houses will enjoy better feng shui than others within the same development. This is due to the effects from the landforms. How do we know which will be better in getting better Qi?.

Once the property and landforms are in sync, then other internal structuring can be used to improve the overall Feng Shui. Without supporting landforms, no amount of internal structuring can improve the feng shui significantly. There is a saying that Feng Shui is built on layers and the first layer is the landform.

Anyone who is serious in property should pick up this art of metaphysics so you will can enjoy prosperity year on year.

That is why, for those in the property line such as agents & investors, having good knowledge in Feng Shui is vital. It will pay off in both short and long run.

On another note, if we are buying to resell for a profit, bad feng shui houses or properties are very much harder to sell. To resell for a good profit will also be a problem.

In conclusion, it will be a smart choice to hire a feng shui consultant to audit the house or property before bidding for it. The feng shui consultation fee paid for qualifying a property is worth every single cent.

Next, I will further discuss on the importance of avoiding Sha within Authentic San Yuan Feng Shui System.

Case Study, Feng Shui

Case Study…

I will share with readers a real case I have done some years back in Malaysia. (Some details of the house plan has been simplified.)

Before you proceed, Warning! this article is only for open minded people.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First, some brief background of the owner. They (couple) moved in about 4 years prior to my audit. Eversince then, the husband faced stressed month after month and soon developed some form mental sickness in the form of depression. By the time I  was called in, he just got a retrenchment notice 3 months ago and still couldn’t find a job. Most intereviews has turned out to be futile.
During the 2nd year the wife had a also an audit on the house but without much result though the Master recommended some remedies. Still things did not get better but the fee was cheap…
Here is the simplified sketch of the floor plan.
Without a doubt the former consultant is also using Flying Star, since my client who is also a feng shui enthusiast, she had some discussions with the former consultant. OK, Now we can study the difference.
The first 3 basic steps in any feng shui audit when using flying star is always the same:
1. Determining the Period of this House.
2. Determine the Facing of the House.
3. The Art of taking direction of the House.
Nothing Fancy, no high level techniques, one can tell what will happen in the house while the other no.
My result is on the right side on the chart and anyone who has some idea of flying star will automatically know 52 will bring what kind of energy into the house.
The consultant mentioned that because the NW sector was missing, the head of the house will not do well. I know this is the ‘usual’ knowledge. The problem was how do you account for the wife’s down turn too?
So the point I strongly stress here is learning from the right school is very very important or getting a consultant from the right school will tell you what you can expect from that house. As you can see there were no special instruments or advance theory applied. Just 3 basic steps and you see the difference.
Feng Shui is part of the remedy to a person’s destiny and Feng Shui has to be able to predict what will happen in the house. If not then don’t bother about Feng Shui.
There will be many people who will tell you, it is due to his bazi/destiny mainly, some will say other parts of the house is causing this problem, or even some will say the house has a bad internal layout or bad external landforms, some will to the extent and say it is his bad deeds or that feng shui is not true art…..
All this is because they don’t know !
So what happens next?
After some discussion they decided to shift out as they are too cash strap to perform required renovations & so I recommended some temporary measures to help make that switch easier and one of it is to remove the stove since they dont cook.
3 weeks onwards later he got a few job interviews and then the husband found a well paid job and now life is back to normal. They sold this house for a stunning record that all 3 real estate agents say in the beginning that it was not possible.
So again the key message I would like to pass on is that learning and getting the right knowledge is important. Then you are able to read houses correctly all the time and not having the frustration why some cases work and some cases not. If you are serious about this art, acquire the right knowledge.
Same advice if you are looking for a consultant. Don’t bother the price first. That will be the last thing to worry. What is the point if he is cheap but cause all the problems later which will cost you heartaches and money again? I have seen too many of these kind of cases. I am not advocating that you must come to me but the point is know his school, the lineage or get referrals from successful cases.
Perhaps as what is mentioned in the Classics is true that not everyone can have the affinity to acquire the help of authetic Feng Shui?
Flying Star Course in Kuala Lumpur
   Over the years, we have a good number of requests and also many has lamented the lack of opportunity to learn Authetic Flying Star course from Grand Master Francis Leyau himself. One of the notable reason is Price and the other is also his availability in Malaysia.
Well, price to me as well as many rich people is just matter of perception. What is important is Value. What value do you get?.
What is the point you attend a cheap course and cannot perform feng shui audit and what more to do it with consistent results?
Grand Master allows students to go back for revision for free, how many do that? Why he does it? Reason is very simple, he understands that feng shui is an art and no one can fully master the art in 4 days and surely you will have questions and he will gladly assist students in this area because he Cares about his students!
GM Francis has been in this field for more than 30 years in fact close to 40 years! Then in 1984 he started Central Academy of Feng Shui (CAFS). A sign of real Value that had stood the test of time.
Because Feng Shui is an art, it takes time to accumulate the experience and that is the pain he had to go through to acquire the status of Grand Master. How many living master has this experience? I mean real audit experience? Those who are practitioners themselves knows that every house is ‘different’, the people living in it are different, the landforms are different, the internal layout is different etc….He is going to cut short your learning experience and save you the pain….this is one value not many can boast but cannot offer.
Today we have to turn down many feng shui audit requests because of his tight schedule and also the backlog from his extensive clientele. He is one few masters who still perform and much sought after for Yin Zhai (Yin Feng Shui). He is passionate in what he does, not just the money.
Most people will know that this art originated from Yin Feng Shui and slowly adapted to Yang (Living Feng Shui). Tell me again how many Feng Shui masters you know still does burial Feng Shui? for 30 plus years he has been doing audits, if it doesnt work, do you think he can still stand inside the feng shui community?
Another indispensable trait of CAFS is lineage. Why lineage is important.? There is no scientific gadgets to measure the effectiveness of feng shui, only the occupants knows. With a lineage, we carry and accumulated the experiences from our other grand masters. I qoute you an example, Grand Master Yen Pen handed down the book ErZhai where it contains 81 cases of Yin and Yang Feng Shui audits that he had done over his life time. There is tracebility of the audits and results. Tell me how many schools are capable of doing so? This is one rare value you can only get it in CAFS.
So my friends, Value not price! The value that CAFS is offering is superbly good!
GM Francis and the team at CAFS has listened and we have created a goodie for students in Malaysia as this year we has decided to bring back Flying Star back to Kuala Lumpur and make it affordable to more yearning students.
Flying Star Dec 2011
Here is the Chart for December & today is the the day we move into Geng Zi (Metal Rat) Month….This is the month where Chinese will celebrate the passing of Winter on the 22nd December. To the Chinese, this is as good as beginning of a new year, culturally.
There are some “Masters” that even claim that the Ming Gua starts from this day instead of the 4th Feb (Coming of Spring).
This month the Stars are exactly the same as the Annual Chart. Simply said, the effects gets doubled…
