2-5 The Mistaken Hero?

In the last decade, many people actually spent a lot of money and time going for Feng Shui courses. Then they start moving from schools to schools just like shopping for cloths. Yet few had consistent results while some gave up. The more seriously hurt ones labelled feng shui as “fake”.

If you read again above statement, this person is not alone. Thus many schools who do not have a lineage will encounter this similar doubt. Thus through their own understanding from the books they buy and trying to match back the reality of the property as to why it is doing good or bad. This reconciliation process has it’s natural flaws because we are dealing with a subject on metaphysics or destiny.

Thus they will think, why this mall has a 5 Yellow Door and yet it does so well? In order to satisfy themselves, they will reason it that probably only businesses or malls can use 5 Yellow! A more creative “master” will reason further that 5 Yellow is the “Emperor” and only “Emperor” can live in a mall sized property where money making is the primary concern!. Or 5 Yellow is only usable in hospitals or clinics so that more people will get sick and hence enhance the business of the hospital or clinic.

Naturally they will have these answers to students and to the new & naive person, they will accept whatever is given.

Is Flying Star Feng Shui Dying?

Here is an interesting article by feng shui master. He claimed that Flying Star Feng Shui is dying but originally he meant to “correct” the celebrity lady master. I shall call the attacking master Master 丙 while the celebrity master, Master 丁.

So I took some time to understand his reasoning as well as the lady master’s article. While it is not my intention to comment on the lady’s master’s analysis, because that is not my business or interest. However, when I look at the flying star chart, the answer is very obvious from flying star point of view. Remember we have no information about the internal layout but the external factors are enough to tell the problem.

HSBC Building Hong Kong

Recently I was introduced to a book by a famous celebrity Master. I took interest to read about what a Shen school of flying star practitioner would read the Feng Shui of this building and how it differs from Wu Chang. One of the chapter that talking about the HSBC building in central Hong Kong.

The book was written many years ago in the late nineties. The author has mentioned and explained why the building was doing well in Period 7 which was between 1984 till 2003. The author also went on to comment that this building auspiciousness will last till Period 8 which is 2004 till 2023.

Where I do not agree is:

1)The author mentioned that human harmony is not that good due to the mountain star 7 went into waters of Victoria Harbour but is off-set by the hills on Kowloon side.

2)The author mentioned the Water star 7 in the front door has assured the prosperity of the bank in Period 7 while the rear door has a Water 8 with a busy road of Queens Road, which is good for wealth through Period 8. He designated buildings as virtual mountains.

Assumption: His flying star chart is correct.

Introduction To Luo Pan 罗盘

Thus far I have never blogged about Luo Pan, the Feng Shui Master’s most important tool. How could I left it out for so long!

To understand Luo Pan, it is best to look at it’s history and origins. While the history of it is non conclusive nevertheless, it will be interesting to know.

Luo Pan – How did it come about?

Tradition holds that Huangdi 皇帝 reigned from 2697 to 2597 or 2698 to 2598 BC Huangdi’s cult was particularly prominent in the late Warring States and early Han period, when he was portrayed as the originator of the centralized state, a cosmic ruler, and a patron of esoteric arts.

Legend has it that Huangdi, credited as being the founder of the Chinese nation, lived in a magnificent palace in the Kunlun Mountains.

There was also at this time another tribal leader, Chi You 蚩尤, who was skilled at making weapons and waging war. He attacked the tribe of Yandi, driving them into the lands of Huangdi. Huangdi was angered by this and went to war with Yandi, initially suffering several defeats. Chi You has some magical skills and they can conjured up a thick fog to confused Huangdi’s army. Huangdi was in the verge of giving up and he prayed to heaven for help. In the legend, the heaven send the Goddess of The Nine Heavens to help Huangdi. She gave Huangdi a tool called the south-pointing chariot to find their way and they were ultimately victorious.

HS Factor

Themed the Fight of the Century, Manny Pacquiao is to face it out with Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas on the 2 May 2015. Two world champions in the Welterweight category.

At the same time, so much anticipation from the Chinese metaphysics circle as to who will triumph! Before we go into the technicalities of Bazi analysis, let’s have look at both of their profiles.

Physically both of them are not of much difference. Floyd has a slightly longer reach and taller. Age wise both of them are just 1 year apart with Floyd one year older. Both have impressive records.

The entire fight, Manny was the aggressor while Floyd was dodging and punching only when he felt right. In the end, Floyd won by unanimous decision by the judges. Although many of Manny’s fan was not very happy but again, the result is result no matter how the people felt.

Here is how I derived the prediction:

We do not have their hour of birth but let’s see their Bazi based on 3 Pillars. We began with Manny:

Manny is a Gui 癸 Day master born in the year of the horse and during with Winter month. This type of chart is best to see Bing 丙 Fire to warm the environment. He has both the 7Killing and Direct Officer DO in his chart but the Direct officer is being controlled by the Hurting officer HO.

When HO controls a DO, the DO is rendered useless and usually this indicates a action orientated person with good talent.

Manny money Wu 午 is being clashed by the Zi 子, which makes him less interested in money but more focused on friend or family.

Rice of Gold

I found an interesting case to share with you all since I know many of you are flying star enthusiast:

In a row of shop (about 25) there are 3 shops selling economy mixed rice. It is quite a norm here in Malaysia where many dishes are mass cooked similar to a western buffet style serving.

We have always wondered, why this shop is doing so well among 3 in the same row. The other 2 is also doing well but not as well as this shop despite they are at each corner. Corner shops are more spacious, airy and hence usually attract better crowd.

Few of us friends tried all the 3 shops and we felt that the difference in taste, service and cleanliness is more or less same nothing much difference. Price also we don’t feel there is a significant difference among them. 2 other shops are in the corner but this one shop is in the center as in yellow box.

Date Selection – Something Not to be Ignored

If you believe the above is true or carries little effect, let me relate this real story of a case a student shared with me.

The student asked me why a person who has a Period 8 house Sit Zi (N2) Facing Wu (S2) in 2014 did not do well, he had problems and lost quite some money that year.

He was puzzled when the main door, is in the center of the house, it has a 8 8 door with a Annual 8 visiting (in Red on lower right corner), how come this person after moving in did not benefit at all but instead experienced problems.

Name Correction and Destiny

Often we hear especially in the Chinese community, that changing name can help improve a person’s destiny. The following is a real case of a man who committed suicide at the age of 22 because he had 2 failed relationships behind that he no longer could bear it.

He jump down from the apartment building he was living. Let’s examine his Bazi and see what or where is the suicidal symptom but before we do that, we go through the Bazi and see what is excessive or severely lacking in this chart.

Determinants of Life – Human Factor (人)

Often I am asked during destiny consultation questions like “is it true that human factor 33.3%?” or “can human really change their destiny?”

Chinese metaphysics study has always been centered on the concept of Trinity of Heaven, Earth, Man part. While some authors conveniently chop them into 3 equal parts, I think they have sort of misinformed the public the concept of Heaven, Earth and Man.

Heaven

Heaven here can mean many things and one of it can be thought of as Heavenly gift. It’s like you have a special talent. In the context of a nation, we can think of it as if the country is free from natural disasters or not, perhaps endowed with bountiful of natural resources such as oil, tin, forestry, fertile land and such.

Earth

Earth can be said to be the environment surrounding us. It’s like do you live in Africa or United States or which part of the town do you live. In the context of a nation, we can say is the nation strategically located in the world shipping path or is the country in a location that has certain weather that is very suitable for growing grapes for example.

Man (Human)

Man is the person that thrives. Like you and I. The people factor. You make think of it collectively as human culture or leadership or vision of a leader.

Just today, we hear about the demise of legendary leader Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the first prime minister of Singapore. He shaped Singapore to what it is today since the day Singapore was ejected out of Malaysia in 1965 after a political fall out.
