Green Dragon Overrun

Clients and students that has been doing consulting asked why San He Feng Shui does not work well. Well I guess it boils down to the practitioner and not the art.

There could be a few reasons to this,

  1. The practitioner did not learn the correct lineage knowledge.
  2. In experienced
  3. Wrong method or self discovered method or unproven method
  4. Self learn or studied from books
  5. Did not understand well the theory & the underlying fundamental instrument of each theory.

There are a myriad of factors that can affect the quality of a house Feng Shui. Today I am going to share one part of this case. It is a property located in a up-scale area where many rich people live. It was a case some years back.

I summarize the house chart below.

Celeb Feng Shuied

Recently I audited a factory up north of Kuala Lumpur, nearby the capital town Perak State, Ipoh. This factory has an interesting story behind but more importantly a lesson to learn from.

About 5 years ago, a new owner Robert (name changed) who was doing well then, bought over this factory and engaged a well known Feng Shui Consultancy Company from Kuala Lumpur to audit this factory in hope of further prospering the business. A senior consultant cum who happened to be also a course instructor from that company was dispatched to audit this factory. I shall briefly share some of the information here.

Feng Shui – A Little Too Late

One evening, a friend gave me a call and told me she knew of a case which is interesting to know but she has yet to be able to explain the predicament.

It’s a shop located inside a very big and famous mall in Klang Valley. This mall has some interesting history. The main mall was constructed during Period 7 and they started business then. As they grow they extended the new wing some years later during Period 8.

This shop is located in the new wing. Both the old and new wing is sitting Wu facing Zi. Why this business after operations for just few years has decided to end it due to poor business.?

When The Sun Rises From The East

Here is a real case of a Period 7 house Sitting NW3 Facing SE3 (亥山巳向) This is one easy case to demonstrate how to use Flying Star Feng Shui to do a prediction.

It is an office waiting to go for renovation after an Feng Shui consultation done in June 2015. However, the auspicious date selected is sometime soon and they are in need of fresh sales. The sales manager asked me about a deal the have put in a great deal of effort and have been  following up and yet have not got any good results thus far.

I told him Oct 2015 (10th month of the solar calendar) is likely month when the good news will arrive. This week he informed me that they got the good news last week. The analysis as below.

Feng Shui Review – Bangsar Village 2

Dug out an old article written one half year ago…

Adjacent to its older sister Bangsar Village 1, BV 2 is the slightly newer addition to the Bangsar shopping scene. The shopping centre  opened its doors in January 2007-houses less common designer brands and inherently quirky eateries and cafes.

Visibly outstanding is Delicious café with its hanging white bird cages, located at the corner of the shopping centre with a street-view of Jalan Telawi. Spanish high street label Zara has a store here for women and there is a smaller version of the massive bookstore Borders, called Borders Express. BV 2 has a Celebrity Fitness outlet for adults and a Kizsports & Gym for the young ones. The latter has a rooster of programs that combines education with fun and fitness to aid children’s learning.

bangsar village 1

For a high end shopping center it has to compete with The Gardens, Star Hill, KLCC and Pavillion, just to mention a few. So human traffic is not the main factor for profit due to the higher margin. With good human traffic, for sure the profit will be generous.

Any mall I guess Human Traffic is one of the Key Success Factor if not the deciding factor.

What caught my attention is the doors of BV2 are tilted doors. Many school profess that they know the secret of Door Tilting so let’s investigate why the original Master have done this and how was the effect for this mall that has been opened for 5 plus years.

Quick Pick Bazi Knowledge on Marriage (For Men)

Very often men hope to find a good wife while a lady would wanted the same. Traditionally and perhaps till today in most cultures which still practices, man are the head of the family. Thus wife is always to follow husband. There is a saying that “Behind every successful man is a supportive Wife”. It is also reflected in Bazi the art of Chinese Astrology.

Astrology or Bazi is one good tool to help identify what makes up a good or compatible wife based on ancient values. This is why in the olden days before any marriage they either have the elders fix the marriage or a professional match maker to match their couple’s Bazi for compatibility.

Chinese match maker

But today’s celeb Bazi teachers has a quick way to check it out based on the lady’s bazi on the Day Pillar. This is an easy & quick way to look for the “perfect” wife. It’s called the cheatsheet to Bazi.

Bazi Matching for marriage

The method is very easy, just look for a lady spouse palace for one of these 3 gods which is the Direct Officer, Direct Wealth or a Direct Resource.

To help you understand where is the spouse palace, it is the location under the Day Master or The Day Pillar Earthly Branch. You can view the below example.

Feng Shui Audit Process

The Feng Shui Master

When we buy a property, we usually will engage a highly trained Feng Shui Master to do an evaluation on the property. He is preferably comes from a Lineage school and not selected on the basis of popularity. This is because the process of Feng Shui is a highly guarded skills handed down generations to generations via a lineage.

This process is usually known as Feng Shui Audit or Feng Shui Consultation. So how does the process looks like? To make it easy for general public to understand, I have broken it down to 3 levels.

Macro Feng Shui

The first level audit or what I call the Macro audit is based on the surrounding environment of the property such as where the Dragons are and where the waters are. How the Dragons move and come affects the quality of the Human factor Qi and how the waters come and go affects the Wealth Qi. Collectively, if they can match in neat formation thus being able to lock the Qi, this is considered an ideal Feng Shui formation.

Micro Feng Shui

Now together with the property layout or intended layout, assuming you are building it up from sketch, the master will assess the type of Qi that this property will be receiving. Thus the primary objective is to tap the best Qi to improve the wealth and health factors. I call this the Micro level.

Feng Shui Bagua

In the study of Feng Shui there are 2 Bagua (八卦) we cannot miss. First is the Early Heaven Bagua and there other is known as the Later Heaven Bagua.

Feng Shui bagua EH
Early Heaven Bagua
Feng Shui bagua LH
Later Heaven Bagua

Why is it called early and later? Early Heaven Bagua (EHB) was invented by Fuxi close to 5000 years ago while Later Heaven (LHB) was developed much later. LHB was thought by many to be a rearrangement of the EHB by King Wen but this is not really the case.

The 2 Baguas soon found their importance in the study of Feng Shui since all classical Feng Shui method are based on these two Baguas to developed their theory. Each Bagua has their importance in Feng Shui depending on the application of it.

A City’s Feng Shui from San Yuan Perspective

Kuching is the capital of Sarawak State, part of Malaysia located in the Borneo Island. The city is situated on the Sarawak River at the southwest tip of the state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo and covers an area of 431 square kilometres (166 sq mi) with a population about 165,642 in the Kuching North administrative region and 159,490 in the Kuching South administrative region.

Kuching has a unique history where Kuching was the third capital of Sarawak in 1827 during the administration of the Bruneian Empire. In 1841, Kuching become the capital of Sarawak after Sarawak was ceded to James Brooke for helping the Bruneian empire in crushing a rebellion.

The Brooke dynasty ruled Sarawak for a hundred years and became famous as the “White Rajahs“, accorded a status within the British Empire similar to that of the rulers of Indian princely states. In contrast to many other areas of the empire, however, the Brooke dynasty was intent on a policy of paternalism to protect the indigenous population against exploitation. They governed with the aid of the Muslim Malay and enlisted the Ibans and other “Dayak” as a contingent militia. The Brooke dynasty also encouraged the immigration of Chinese merchants but forbade the Chinese to settle outside of towns to minimise the impact on the Dayak way of life. Charles Brooke, the second White Rajah of Sarawak, established the Sarawak Museum, the oldest museum in Borneo.

In the early part of 1941, preparations were afoot to introduce a new constitution, designed to limit the power of the Rajah and give the people of Sarawak a greater say in government. Despite this democratic intention, the draft constitution contained irregularities, including a secret agreement drawn up between Charles Vyner Brooke and his top government officials, financially compensating him via treasury funds.

Japan invaded Sarawak and occupied the island of Borneo in 1941, occupying Miri on 16 December and Kuching on 24 December, holding both territories for the duration of World War II until the area was secured by Australian forces in 1945 and managed under the British Military Administration. Charles Vyner Brooke formally ceded sovereignty to the British Crown on 1 July 1946, under pressure from his wife among others. In addition, the British Government offered a healthy pension to Brooke. Anthony Brooke, the designated heir, opposed the cession of the Rajah’s territory to the British Crown, and was associated with anti-cessionist groups in Sarawak, consisting of a majority of the native members of the Council Negri (Parliament)

Until 1963, Sarawak joined Malaysia together with Sabah. Here is a brief chronological events of Sarawak.

Brunei Sultanate 15th century–1841
Brooke dynasty 1841–1946
Japanese occupation 1941–1945
British Crown Colony 1946–1963
Self-government 22 July 1963
Malaysia Agreement 16 September 1963

From the Feng Shui point of view, you will see that Kuching is surrounded by a network of rivers. The main river that divide the city into 2 half is the Sarawak River. The part labeled A is more prosperous and was firstly developed. The part B is more recent and quiet area mainly comprising of Government administration buildings.
