The Little Known Fact Of Flying Star

Flying star feng shui has been a too common knowledge in the Feng Shui field to the point there are many variations of it. Some schools of Feng shui also offer them different sets of theory at different times. If you ask the old students they were told to use the Construction date while the newer batch in the last 8 years or so were told to use the Move in date to determine the period of the property. Thus why is that so if they claimed to be a teacher of classical Feng Shui. The word classical could easily have meant above 300 years old so why change after a span of 14 years. Don’t you agree? Doesn’t it says something about the knowledge they possess?

With the commercialization of Feng Shui today, it is no wonder aspiring students faces this dilemma. Do you know the clear answer? You better be very sure because your decision is going to affect your clients! Remember wrong diagnosis, wrong prescription and wrong prescription will lead to wrong outcome!

There are many other examples of half baked knowledge of Feng Shui, thus finding the Right Feng Shui master is really a matter of the the client’s luck in modern days. In the old days it was much easier. Then what about the ability to follow through the advice? It is even harder for most people today to just follow through instructions.

Here is a case where I stumbled upon a unit where it was empty and rented by my client. The door obviously has been Feng Shuied… and upon measurement we found out this:

Feng Shui Audit Process

The Feng Shui Master

When we buy a property, we usually will engage a highly trained Feng Shui Master to do an evaluation on the property. He is preferably comes from a Lineage school and not selected on the basis of popularity. This is because the process of Feng Shui is a highly guarded skills handed down generations to generations via a lineage.

This process is usually known as Feng Shui Audit or Feng Shui Consultation. So how does the process looks like? To make it easy for general public to understand, I have broken it down to 3 levels.

Macro Feng Shui

The first level audit or what I call the Macro audit is based on the surrounding environment of the property such as where the Dragons are and where the waters are. How the Dragons move and come affects the quality of the Human factor Qi and how the waters come and go affects the Wealth Qi. Collectively, if they can match in neat formation thus being able to lock the Qi, this is considered an ideal Feng Shui formation.

Micro Feng Shui

Now together with the property layout or intended layout, assuming you are building it up from sketch, the master will assess the type of Qi that this property will be receiving. Thus the primary objective is to tap the best Qi to improve the wealth and health factors. I call this the Micro level.

Student’s Dilemma

Many a times I hear student telling me why they almost give up Feng Shui altogether.

This is a common trend since early of the millennium, Feng Shui was “opened” to the public by several celebrity masters. During that period almost everyone with some curiosity in Feng Shui would like to join in the band wagon with either the hope of becoming Feng Shui Masters like them or would simply be part of the mysterious society of metaphysics.

Helicopter Feng Shui

Once, I was invited to Feng Shui consultation for a friend’s newly bought apartment in Clementi Singapore. The wife is a Feng Shui Skeptic and he wasn’t a ardent believer too. Anyway, since it was a trend so he engaged me for this consultation.

At the ground floor, I told my client there is hill in front far away behind the building block. He said it can’t be. “How do you know? I cannot even see it”. So I said, if you are interested let’s take a lift up to 12th floor and let’s find out.

He agreed and we went up to 12th floor. Indeed there is a hill in front behind the building in front. He asked me how I know since I am not a Singaporean and this is my first trip here.

Well there is a way to identify land forms and that is how ancient masters do it. No need to hire helicopter to survey dragons. Just a publicity gimmick for the inexperienced layman or that master surely doesn’t know how to see land forms.

No hard feelings but that is the fact!

Next time, I will write something about city landforms or landforms for the dwellings and landforms for the Yin Feng Shui. Stay tuned!
