FENG SHUI BAZI – PART 2

Very often you hear some masters say Bazi is diagnosis while Feng Shui is remedy. Is this a true statement? Then there are masters who uses Bazi to determine the Nobleman star or Peach Blossom star then activate it in the respective sector in the house .

For example if in a person’s Bazi the Day Master is Jia 甲, then the Nobleman star is at Chou 丑 and Wei 未 sectors. If your Day Master is Xin 辛 then your nobleman star is at Wu 午 and Yin 寅 sectors of the house. They use the below compass to locate the sectors.

As a teacher and practicing consultant in both Bazi and Feng Shui, I beg to differ in this viewpoint. Bazi is our astrology chart that decipher our Destiny from our date and time of birth. It tells us what our life limits are, our characters, our problems and our strengths. Feng shui on the other hand is the art of harnessing Qi from the land to benefit humans. Using the knowledge of our surrounding land and direction of our house, we contain certain types of energy in our house. This energy in our house in turns affects the outcome of our life.

This is the reason why Chinese as classify the metaphysics study into 5 categories is because they are indeed different streams of practice but uses the same fundamentals.

The 5 arts are namely:

  1. Physiognomy – Face reading & Feng shui
  2. Divination – Yijing divination,
  3. Astrology – Fate or destiny analysis such as Bazi or Zi Wei Dou Shu.
  4. Medicine – Medical branch
  5. Philosophy and Arts – Tao and martial arts.

Thus you may see that Feng Shui and Bazi belongs to different categories. Only modern “masters” mixes them together.

Here I share a real case shared to me during the consultation after I have predicted it. (Shared with permission from person)

Bazi 八字

This is the Bazi of their person. In the reading I saw this person would lose a sum of money and most likely is from the house issue.

Why in 2016 just after Li Chun the house was burglarized? This is reflected in the Bazi.

West Facing House Feng Shui Case

This is another nice contribution of Feng Shui case audited by our student.

Method used: Wu Chang Flying Star Feng Shui System

Property type: Landed House.

In the Beginning

During Period 7 (1984-2003), this family had enjoyed abundance of wealth luck. Mr. L was running printing business, and there were several workers working under him.

However, after 2003, his business was getting to decline, and he was forced to move his shop to somewhere else due to the increasing of shop rental. Besides than this, his health was deteriorating and he was diagnosed as having liver cancer.

In September 2006 (丙戌), Mr. L passed away, and his eldest son, Mr. A inherited his printing business. Since then, there was no improvement at all with his business, and he had to suffer financial debts with many suppliers.

The Consulting

I audited their house during 2015 (乙未). Observed the main door was having untimely PO JUN star (Star #7). From the formation, I believed there will be high incidents of leg injury & indeed during discussion with Mr. A, he always injured his legs when doing heavy exercise.

Furthermore, the Stove was located at the GEN sector, with sickness combination. When the stove was sucking bad energy, it would cause sickness to the occupants. The newly wed Mrs. A always fall ill since she moved in to the house, especially in 2015 (乙未). The wrongly placed stove further weakens the health of the occupants.

Green Dragon Overrun

Clients and students that has been doing consulting asked why San He Feng Shui does not work well. Well I guess it boils down to the practitioner and not the art.

There could be a few reasons to this,

  1. The practitioner did not learn the correct lineage knowledge.
  2. In experienced
  3. Wrong method or self discovered method or unproven method
  4. Self learn or studied from books
  5. Did not understand well the theory & the underlying fundamental instrument of each theory.

There are a myriad of factors that can affect the quality of a house Feng Shui. Today I am going to share one part of this case. It is a property located in a up-scale area where many rich people live. It was a case some years back.

I summarize the house chart below.

Xuan Kong Flying Star…Getting To Know The Stars 04

After I have talked about all the 3 good White Stars, I touch on Star 9 for several reasons.

Star 9 also known as You Bi Star has the colour Purple and hence also commonly called the 9 Purple.

Although 9 is supposedly a good star in Period 8 due to it’s timeliness but let’s not forget that it’s natural character is a Double Agent. The usage of Stars in Flying Star Feng Shui has many layers but I will only touch the surface in this posting to avoid confusing readers.

So the behaviour of 9 Purple is conditional upon the circumstance as it appears. When 9 Purple shows the good side, it can bring fame and happy events but when it turns ugly, it can bring sickness, chaos and stupidity to the house.

When a consulting a house feng shui, we are particularly careful with 9 Purple.

The other reason I have choose to blog about Star 9 is that it is also an Education Star similar to Tan Lang. However, there is a subtle difference in their character and ultimate usage but as a tip for parents having children facing major exams this year, you may use the 9 purple’s beneficial energy.

In 2013, Star 9 goes to the South.

Today is the Last Day of Chinese New Year and also a Valentine’s day, Chinese version. So single ladies will usually take an  Orange, makes a wish and throw into the lake in the hope that their Prince Charming will come soon in a White Horse…

Feng Shui Questions Answered

I have been collecting questions from viewers in the poll that I have posted some time back and this is one of them which I will answer…

Question:

For your example, from the master plan, there are some sectors where the houses will enjoy better feng shui than others within the same development.

Which is a better sector that enjoy better fengshui than others?

How do we know which will be better in getting better Qi?.

———————————————————————————————————————————————–

My Answer:

Which sector or which row of houses within the development that will enjoy better feng shui is very much dependable on several factors.

First, we need to measure because each house has different measurement. Yes you hear me right. Opposed to conventional thinking that the same row of houses will have same direction is certainly not true. So first we need to measure to know for sure what is the Qi prevailing in each houses. What Qi is prevailing, we will have to know the Flying Star Chart. There is no short cut but to measure the house.

Secondly, the landforms surrounding the houses is different for each house. E.g. a junction could be facing 1 or 2 houses but the rest of the houses will not be subjected to this. I again re-iterate here that junctions are not necessary bad. Another way of saying is also the location of mountains, water and other factors are also different relatively to each houses. You can see the illustration below. The blue spot is at different locations for different houses in the same row.

Here I would like to remind again that land forms is not necessarily about Green Dragons, White Tigers, Black Turtle and the Red Phoenix. This is a wide misconceptions in the study of Chinese Feng Shui.

There is also the ‘Flying Star’ land forms that you need to consider. (Big Wu Chang Secret! Haha…)

Thirdly, each house in the same row may have different designs or mirror images. In Malaysia, it is now a trend where the same row has alternate designs of house such as Type A,B,C,A,B,C…along the same row of houses.

Fourthly, each house may have arranged things differently. I mean the bed, the rooms, the stove etc. Hence, your sleeping directions or the location of your bedroom, bed will also be different.

Lastly, different people have different Ming Gua, 命卦 (Life Gua or Personal Gua). The effects will also be different on different individuals.

So without measuring we won’t be able to tell for sure. Once we have measured, plotted the Flying Star chart and ascertained the above factors, then we can tell for sure the house Feng Shui.

If you have Feng Shui Questions, just drop your questions in this Poll. I will try to answer relevant questions in due time.

Thank you.
