Date Selection – Something Not to be Ignored

If you believe the above is true or carries little effect, let me relate this real story of a case a student shared with me.

The student asked me why a person who has a Period 8 house Sit Zi (N2) Facing Wu (S2) in 2014 did not do well, he had problems and lost quite some money that year.

He was puzzled when the main door, is in the center of the house, it has a 8 8 door with a Annual 8 visiting (in Red on lower right corner), how come this person after moving in did not benefit at all but instead experienced problems.

Name Correction and Destiny

Often we hear especially in the Chinese community, that changing name can help improve a person’s destiny. The following is a real case of a man who committed suicide at the age of 22 because he had 2 failed relationships behind that he no longer could bear it.

He jump down from the apartment building he was living. Let’s examine his Bazi and see what or where is the suicidal symptom but before we do that, we go through the Bazi and see what is excessive or severely lacking in this chart.

Determinants of Life – Human Factor (人)

Often I am asked during destiny consultation questions like “is it true that human factor 33.3%?” or “can human really change their destiny?”

Chinese metaphysics study has always been centered on the concept of Trinity of Heaven, Earth, Man part. While some authors conveniently chop them into 3 equal parts, I think they have sort of misinformed the public the concept of Heaven, Earth and Man.

Heaven

Heaven here can mean many things and one of it can be thought of as Heavenly gift. It’s like you have a special talent. In the context of a nation, we can think of it as if the country is free from natural disasters or not, perhaps endowed with bountiful of natural resources such as oil, tin, forestry, fertile land and such.

Earth

Earth can be said to be the environment surrounding us. It’s like do you live in Africa or United States or which part of the town do you live. In the context of a nation, we can say is the nation strategically located in the world shipping path or is the country in a location that has certain weather that is very suitable for growing grapes for example.

Man (Human)

Man is the person that thrives. Like you and I. The people factor. You make think of it collectively as human culture or leadership or vision of a leader.

Just today, we hear about the demise of legendary leader Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the first prime minister of Singapore. He shaped Singapore to what it is today since the day Singapore was ejected out of Malaysia in 1965 after a political fall out.

Case of A Long Feng Shui Spell Broken

I was invited to view a shop and found something interesting about it.

The landlady bought this property about 10 years ago when it was new. As she rented out to tenants in hope to collect rental, most of them did not last more than 3 years and had difficulty to collect rent. The tenants either end up winding up the business or perish without notice.

This new tenant just rented first floor and thus asked my opinion about this since he hear this worrying news.

This is a case that would really test your flying star skills. Of course failing to explain one may revert to other method such as 8 Mansion system but it does not prove the authenticity & depth of the flying star knowledge. Flying Star is a very powerful and fast method for Yang Houses.

First is to determine the Facing which in this case is pretty straight forward. Next, the period, which is a Period 8 shop which applies either if you use move in or construction date. Lastly, where would you take the direction of the shop? Location A, B, C or D ? Without any of this correct, one can forget about even starting.

To Be a Great Feng Shui Master, One Must See Stars?

I would like to wish all my Chinese readers, Happy Chinese New Year 2015, 新年快樂!

This time of the year, it s a time where people busy going for annual feng shui talks for the latest updates of what’s coming. Usually people like to ask me these questions:

1. How do I know which feng shui master is good?

2. There are so many “masters’ out there and all of them say they have the best secrets, who should I trust?

3. The previous feng shui master who did my house wasn’t that good but my friend who recommended me had good results, why is it so?

I don’t know of any short answers and thus usually it is hard to explain in a few sentences. Perhaps, I can explain better over in blog.

Once a famous ancient Feng Shui Master once said:

The first class feng shui master observe the stars,

The second class feng shui master look for water mouth,

The third class feng shui master walks the mountains!

(一等地师观星斗，二等地师寻水口，三等地师满山走！)

The President, The Prisoner

As I read the news article on a local daily on ex President of Taiwan Mr Chen Shui Bian released on medical parole after serving 6 out of the 20 years sentence for graft. Chen Shui Bian

So I went on to goggle about him over the internet and I found out actually he has two birth dates. Mr. Chen was born to an impoverished tenant farming family in Guantian Township of Tainan County (now part of Tainan City) on the second day of the ninth lunar month in 1950 (12 Oct) but was not formally issued a birth certificate until February 18, 1951 because of doubts that he would survive.

There has always been a debate if one’s destiny should follow the actual date of birth or the official date of birth. Even in feng shui has similar questions such as should we us Winter Solstice (Li Dong) to cut off the new year or Li Chun?

The second reason that caught my attention is how would a Bazi for a person who has gone from the highest point to the lowest point in a matter of 10 years. What is the cause of it? Can it be seen from Bazi?

Water Sha From Drain Water?

Feng Shui has been always associated with Water and no doubt it is. Shui 水 in Chinese literally mean water. Water can affect us since it is a vital Qi carrier and activator. In Feng Shui, water is usually associated with wealth of a house. Hence most feng shui master uses water features to help clients activate wealth in the house.

At the same time, I have also meet cases where water features who was supposed to bring wealth to the family, brough accidents and loss of wealth at a very fast rate too.

Thus when water moves, it creates Qi that could either prosper or destroy a house. The question is how does one knows if the water will do good or bad? It all lies in the skill of the feng shui master if he could make the Golden Dragon move or not. If the Dragon can move then the house will be wealthy and rich. On the other hand if the dragon does not move or moves in the wrong direction, then disaster spells.

Feng Shui & Bazi

Many a times during a consultation, clients asks “Don’t you need to read my Bazi before the Feng Shui audit?”. Let’s study a little both arts and I will give my conclusion and reasons.

Bazi

Bazi or Phat Chee (cantonese) literally means 8 characters. It is actually an art to help decipher what’s has been instilled into us when we are born into this world. The chart below is an example of Bazi where it is a Chinese version of our Date and hour of birth.

Bazi tell us our characters, Bazi tells us what are the strengths and weaknesses we inherited when we draw in our first breath on this planet. Hence Bazi is classified as destiny astrology.

Many of us knows our problems and strengths and usually they last a lifetime and even if not it will influence us in much of our lives. Some may know the problems and strengths early or consciously. Some find them out later or they only have a vague idea of their problems or strengths. The third type knows but rather live in denial or felt helpless about it.

They say there are many ways to skin a cat – while this may sound cruel, the moral behind is noble indeed. There are many ways to do something or go about doing something or achieve the end.

Water Methods – Hey! Water Where Are You Heading To?.

Some time back, I was on a Feng Shui consultation on a new house and the owner after the audit was chit chatting with me about feng shui and slowly he pull me into a conversation that I did not know it was going to be interesting.

Apparently, he has house not far away where he was staying for a few years already. He said the previous celebrity master who audited his house advised him to sell the house since it is not good. It will result in havoc and loss of money. So out of curiosity, I asked if I can see it.

He brought me to his house and indeed in front of the house, there is a drain flowing in the direction as shown below. The house is facing South and the direction of the water is coming from the East side and then curving out to SW direction. He recalled that the master mentioned something “…..Bad Later Heaven Water….”.

But I was surprised because according to my knowledge, this outgoing water is supposed to bring him good financial results. It sounds stupid but I asked anyway to confirm if he did better since he stayed in this house. Affirmatively, he answered a resounding “Oh, Yes but it got me worried initially after what he said…..”
