Feng Shui Paranoia

In this new age Feng Shui era, many has turned to Feng shui as form of luck booster. thus in the process many fake knowledge has creep-ed into this noble ancient art making many newbies live in fear and soon this fear turned into a paranoia.

How has this evolved? Feng Shui has been a highly guarded secret in the past and to a some extent it is still today although some masters boasted that they can buy these secrets. So most people in the past hear about Feng Shui and what it can do but have not the slighted idea of it. In order to make living out if this, they claim that they know feng shui and introduced many forms into the feng shui. Their source mainly came from cultural beliefs, some religious belief, Daoist mainly and partly own’s imagination to create a “logical” answer.

To add salt to the wound, some modern practitioners with their poor understanding of Feng shui became the new bogeyman by creating more fears into the unsuspecting online readers. I will quote a few common examples.

1. They call Sha Qi as Killing Qi but the fact is that Sha Qi is just a destructive Qi and not Killing! It’s just a sign of negative energy in the house. A poor understanding of Feng Shui terms creates unnecessary fears in the mind of the common people.

2. Electrical Pylons are called Sha Qi because its pointed. So how does being point is bad? Please explain to me. Of course if you stay too near to it , there is always a risk of accidents but again, how does the small magnetic field is going to kill you and what more if you stay say 1km away ? They just create fears due to their poor knowledge of Feng Shui.

Pylons are no Sha Qi

3. Gushing waters are Sha Qi such as Cutting Feet Sha or Pulling Nose Sha. Then dirty water is worse than clean water! How does the Qi differentiates dirty or clean? It may LOOK dirty to you but is it so to the Feng Shui? It may cause faulty smells which creates living discomfort and that is the exact logic they will use to say its Bad Qi! Have you noticed that many places that have such features but the business is really good ? I have seen too many of them!. Continue reading “Feng Shui Paranoia”

Best Feng Shui Experience

Recently I was conducting a Feng Shui class, it was an amazing experience. It was amazing because 3 of them were once my clients.

And you maybe wondering why are they in the class? It’s because they have consulted several Feng Shui masters before but did not had the experience they have . The results after my consultation were beyond their imagination.

Overseas Superstition Wind

This overseas client had 2 prior Feng Shui masters to consult her house some years ago but the situation wasn’t any better off despite all the recommendation of “cures”. One even had a very professionally thick folder with beautifully done up report.

Finally she found me for some reasons and trusted me despite I looked “young”! Well her trust paid off because after the changes she and her husband felt the positive results after real feng shui is applied. The sales increased and harmony was better. Indeed life is much smoother than before. The long flight was all worth it.

Tilted Door – What Superstitious Master called “Crooked Mouth”

The irony was that, the client told me non of the “masters” could tell there was a mountain in front of her house and what it does to their property. Instead he asked my poor client to put big rocks in front to create a “mountain”. Then some crystals here and there. Most superstition master’s advice are merely Feng Shui myths.

Celebrity Feng Shui For You?

Back in 2008 a celebrity Master published a book on water feng shui & later a senior consultant from that school published another book from the same series…

In the book, they say that for apartments, the date to determine the period chart of the apartment is the move in date of the first occupant.

This is half wrong!

If everyone try to DIY Feng Shui, buys this book and do it themselves…gosh…imagine the wrong period chart means wrong flying star feng shui, I cannot imagine what can happen next to this person….May god bless him.

So How to Feng Shui your home? Simple! get the right school and you will do fine..

You can see that this is indeed dangerous. It only proves a few things.

1. They don’t know what they are teaching as the foundation on understanding real feng shui is not solid. They don’t even understand the concept of “Qi Enclosement”.

2. They don’t have lineage to prove their understanding is correct and working. So, probably they try and error based on their own understanding of classic texts.

Think! Good marketing does not necessarily mean you are going to learn Real Feng Shui…you get Celebrity Feng Shui. 🙂
