Qi Flow, The San Yuan Path

Once I was dealt with a very difficult project. The sales situation with the retail business was not in good shape and it has been on the decline since a few months. The main door was affected with inauspicious sha (煞气) energy and this was one of the cause of the slow down.

Perhaps a stroke of affinity, that this client managed to locate and trusted me to help improve the business. After studying the layout and business, I found a way to minimize the cost of renovation and same time can improve the flow of auspicious Qi to improve the business.

The Qi Flow Improvement Results

Its a concept called Qi Flow. There are various schools of Feng shui and thus each school has their own concept of Qi Flow. In San Yuan schools of thoughts there is also a Qi Flow concept.

Apart from the above improved trend, the sales compared to next the previous month is a jump of 16% in mere 3.5 weeks after changes implemented. So what made this improvement possible?

Voided Feng Shui

Why is it some malls are not able to perform or badly perform as in drawing in crowds? Is there a Feng Shui reason behind? We know that in Kuala Lumpur, there are malls with more than 20 years and yet holds high rental yield and full of crowd. Is it because purely due to location?  Today we investigated 2 such places in Kuala Lumpur.Void is a phenomena in feng shui whereby the building is in a position that is really bad Feng Shui.

The Glades, Putra Heights

The Glades Plaza was built as part of the complimentary for it’s gated Glades bungalow units back Quarter 4 of 2013. Photos taken this year shows that no business could survive there except their property sales office. Why can it be that bad? A property developer that is top 10 in Malaysia and it’s Feng Shui was heavily promoted by an internationally famous Feng Shui master from Kuala Lumpur, why then it can be in such sad state?A few business tried to open there but closed down not long after. The last being a cafe.Is it due to poor marketing efforts or was played down by a hidden hands of Feng Shui? What was possibly missed out in the Feng Shui assessment? Gone were the days where bus load of students enthusiastically measuring with their new luopans that I vividly recalled while passing by back then.

The sad truth is that many behavioral economists know very little about psychology. – Richard Thaler

Sad Mall

Summit mall USJ has been opened for more than 20 years. Its a Sitting East Facing West property 卯山酉向 build around 1997-1998. Flaking this mall is a big office block and SEGI college and Summit Hotel.

Old view of Summit

About August of last year, it had a new face lift inside as well as outside the mall. They also lit up the parking bays which is commendable.

Upgraded Facade

Sadly today, after more than 1 year, Jan 2018, it has not improved in terms of crowd pulling. The simple reason is because the people factor of this mall is damaged.

Changed few major tenants, supermarket to B point and now Homedec. Many shops with some for as long as 17 years restaurant has closed down or moved out.

Front Main Door Facing West

Main door of any premise is very important factor in Feng shui. It has significant effects on the overall Feng Shui of any premise may it be a house, a mall or office.

With this type of Main door Feng Shui, changes of loss of money through misappropriation or gradual loss of business & arguments will be a common thing.

At this time where the economy is not so favorable, new tax laws, tougher business environment, new malls sprouting out nearby, it is understandable businesses are struggling. On hind side, it is still better then The Strand or the previous Subang Avenue and the USJ 19 mall.

Feng Shui For Human Factor

I was very pleased with this particular Feng Shui case and thus I have gotten the approval to share part of this case from the owner. This owner got this condo unit way back in 2003 and did some minor changes to the layout according to deity advice and later got a Feng shui master to audit the house in Singapore. 🇸🇬

This Feng shui master claimed he is from our lineage of Wu Chang 无常流 but I don’t believe so for a few reasons. Anyway there are many who likes to claim they are from Wu Chang because this is the authentic Feng Shui lineage. So readers do be aware of such claim.

Land Forms Feng Shui

The land formations wasn’t correct for a start. The house analysis was also deficient and the remedies was misinformed thus leading to the current state. 📉

For more than 10 years things has not got better & this I mean human relationships and harmony in the house. Money wise has also seen a challenging trend over the the many years.

If not for their hardworking and positive attitude I am sure it could have been worse. That is the thing about Feng shui, it works on small daily progress that is so small you don’t even feel a thing till you look back in time. Luckily there weren’t shortage of grit. 👍🏼

House Facing

The most challenging part in accessing this unit is to determine the facing of this unit. 🏠 Since this unit has made some changes when they moved in, it is different from the other unit in the same condominium development.

Feng Shui Disbelief

Many people do not belief in Feng Shui. Some believe that it is all the act of God while some believe that it is purely human endeavor. This group believe that if what you belief you can become you will become with your own pure hard work and lots of mind motivation.

However, Feng shui is not a myth or something that is religious in nature. In fact it is quite scientific because over the years as science progresses, we are able to understand better the mechanics of Feng shui.

In short, it is a mix knowledge of geography and astronomy but explained in a Chinese way. So whether one believe in gravity / electromagnetism or not, it will still act upon us! If one jumps from 30th floor, gravity, not God will act upon us. For sure there is only one direction we will be heading to.

Bad Feng Shui House

This is a very sad case where the house occupant after moving in and stayed in this house has made significant financial digression.

In Feng Shui we believe the environment affects the house Feng shui and the house Feng shui in return affects its occupants for better or for worse.

Big corner property, big expensive cars and thus what seems rosy to others may not have known the coming of a sad episode. So what happened to them after staying in this house?

The Discussion of Two Malls’ Feng Shui

Business Feng Shui

Back in mid 2012, I was having a discussion with one of my senior since we both stay in vicinity. The discussion was focused on feng shui since this is out common denominator. Both of them was opened to public by end 2012.

Recently nearby our place there are two malls recently started operations. The first to start was One City Mall (managed & built by MCT) and months later The Main Place later started (managed & refurbished by BinaPuri).

Some background information, One city has many new features of a mall such as sky bridge, a large gym, and cinema (closed now), a 4 star hotel, Maybank, SoHo and is centered on business / office mall. Most of the restaurants are also the high end.

On the other hand, Main Place is of a smaller scale and has the more traditional features of a shopping mall with a grocer, apparels, pharmacy, fast food chains, book store, toys r us to name a few outlets.

Feng Shui KO to Hero

When Sandy (not her real name) was introduced to me by a client of mine back in late 2015, she explained that she has just recently purchased a new house in Johor. She asked that I do a Feng Shui check on the property 🏠 and advice the required changes to improve her house feng shui.

She needed all the help she can get from Feng Shui as her business was not doing well. She is in the Insurance line. She could not focus on the job for several personal reasons on top of the sour relationship with the insurance company senior executives. Her sales numbers have been in the decline trend 📉 as well.

House Void Line 空亡

When I arrived at the property around noon, the wind was blowing breezily and this gave me some comfort being under the mid day sun. The corner unit link house was Sitting South and Facing North. The place was rather surrounded by hills.

The house fell into a specific degree known as a Void Line. In some schools it is known as the Death and Emptiness line or  Kong Wang 空亡. Void line ☠️ in feng shui is a very bad thing as everything will eventually goes to zero. It can affect wealth, health, relationships etc.

I have seen a few property may it be office, factory sitting on Void Lines experience some kind of paranormal disturbances and decline in business too.

Understanding her current situation, this will definitely be a bad thing to have. Something has to be done and after some calculations, I chose an auspicious degree for the door.

I first ask her to sectorize the downstairs to get the good Qi for the parents room. Then with some minor renovation at the rear to extend the kitchen, I then chooses an auspicious location for the stove . We cannot underestimate the stove even though there are many theories pertaining the stove out there, only with lineage knowledge, only one is able to set the right formation for long term auspicious. Wrong setting the stove can hurt members of the family.

Upstairs, I set the bed to benefit her human factor and health. With good human factor, only can we have supportive bosses and friends on top of a clearer mind. Now that I have solved the Human Factor 💪🏼, how can i help her improve her wealth and career?

I proceeded to place her working desk in an auspicious location in her room. This takes in to consideration the alignment of her desk to the door to the stairs creating a powerful feng shui formation where the strong formation of auspicious Qi gathered at her bed room. This will further improve the wealth 💰factor for her.

The Feng Shui Results

Months later, Sandy’s facebook was filled with appreciation from colleagues and of course myself for winning many awards for top sales and other categories. The reward 🏆 that followed were company overseas trips. 🎉🎉🎉

Good feng shui is a unique skills that each feng shui master will come out with different solution depending on his ability. So no two masters will produce the exact result. Just like no two cooks will produce the same taste even with the same ingredients.

This is what Feng Shui have done for her. I cannot say that it is only due to Feng Shui, of course her hard work counts too but nonetheless with an extra lift from the “hidden windy hand”, the sailing becomes smoother and more effective.

Update Feb 2018, won 2 star ⭐️ awards for her achievements.

Revived

A business owner came to me some months ago in Kuala Lumpur. Her business was down for some years after having a feng shui job done by a famous master. The first year was alright but then later the business slowly went down hill. Feeling some is not right, she did her research and found me.

She is correct, feng shui outcome is a trend, if done correctly it should not show a down trend unless it’s a human issue but in her case, it is not.

When I went to her shop, it was quiet but she told me it was not like this in the beginning since she has been operating her business here for more than 15 years. It was after the feng shui changes it went slow and despite all the expensive feng shui “cures”, things did not improved. What went wrong ? Are cures a workable feng shui solution?

The Feng Shui Hand

This was a premise sitting East facing West close to North West. The cashier was beside the door on the White Tiger side and out side in front was a vast piece of empty land. Thus it is said to have a good ming tang (clear frontage). But same time last two years there was some construction work on going that was soon blocking off the wide area. Many friends speculated it is due to the new building that caused the business slow down.

After studying her land formations and facing, I decided I can do some adjustment to the cashier position. I consider this a fortunate case that something is still doable or that can be rectified without having to move out. Thus by matching the Earth & Man factor, I hope to turn around her stagnant business and revive her once promising business.

Months Later….

Dragon’s Breath

A True Sheng Ji Effects

生基真實的故事

THE DRAGON’S QI

Dragon’s Qi is believed to have the ability to alter a person’s destiny over time. Precisely why it is called a Dragon’s qi is because Dragon is an celestial animal that stays in heaven. Thus a dragon is a symbol of heaven’s representation. Thus why in ancient China only the Emperor are allowed to use the dragon symbol . This is because Emperor is the viewed as the Mandate of Heaven and dragon is used to represent the symbol of power mandated given by heaven.

However this same term, Dragon is also used in Feng Shui to denote the movement of the mountains that carry the Qi or energy, hence is also known as the Dragon’s Qi or Dragon’s Breath.

THE HISTORY

A mother was rather apprehensive of her daughter’s weak body. After the first miscarriage, the daughter was rather sad and depressed. This has affected her marriage and her relationship with her husband and in-laws.

THE SHENG JI PLANTING

The mother came to seek my advice and I told her she can give Sheng Ji a try.

Tombstone 墓碑

The Sheng ji was designed according to traditional method as taught by our grand masters. An auspicious date 吉日 was selected to erect the tombstone 墓碑. The tombstone is important because without a tombstone the effect is not as strong as the one with a well feng shui and aligned tombstone.

Yin Feng Shui Principles

Having a tombstone is rather important as it serves as the External Qi collector. Without a tombstone, the only Qi it receives is the Internal Qi. When both Internal and External Qi is harmonized, only the Sheng Ji can produce better results.

Slowly over the months, things started to change for her. Starting from her relationship with the husband, then the in-laws and followed by the pregnancy. However, this is not yet the climax of the story.

House Facing – A REAL Case Study

Determining Facing is one the most difficult process for many feng shui practitioner. It is also one of the important steps in Feng shui audit of any building especially commercial units and high rise units. Landed houses are still in my opinion relatively an easy task.

What makes matter worse is that today’s architects are coming out with creative building designs that makes our job ever harder as a Feng Shui Consultant. Unfortunately, we cannot skip this step too.

We have no choice but to bite the bullet and find out the facing of the building in order to know the facing direction of that building. We have to be very careful at this step. If we do it wrong, then the whole analysis will be flawed and risk our client’s future unless one is just doing it purely for the money.

How to Determine the Facing of the Building?

Here is a real case my student from East Malaysia (Borneo) consulted me. It is a very intriguing case since it is a new building back then and there is no history of occupants.

This multiple level building is shaped in a L formation, if you see from the top. Outside this building is a busy road junction and in the middle there is Water Fountain Splashing most of the day time. However the office is at level 3 and can accessed from both sides the stairs behind or from the convex side X of the building or through the door facing the Fountain at ground level.

At the side X is a forest bush further back and a small open car park in between.
