Residential Feng Shui Case

Here is one of a case done by Master Alan Chong some years ago and the results has lasted through today.

Is Feng Shui all about lucky items, Bagua, golden eggs, buddha placements or even crystals cure?

Is Feng Shui as spike of the moment? This simply means a quick one time result after the consultation or should Feng Shui produced sustainable long term results?

Many commoners have a wrong understanding of what is really Feng Shui. Many think that Feng Shui is some kind of magic show or a cure for all our lives problems using physical items as “Cures”.

Many of world’s problems are actually human made. Over confidence, greed, lust, anger, jealousy are just some of the common ones.

Real Feng Shui is about how you manipulate energy to assist us in our daily endeavors. Remember, everyone of us has a destiny to fulfill as well, Feng Shui is to assist us to make our lives more comfortable or smooth sailing.

This is the big difference how real feng shui works vs fake or non feng shui related but branded as “Feng Shui”. Subscribe to our channel for the latest postings.

Theory Or Results

In the world of Feng Shui consulting today, there are tons of masters available out there, especially here in Malaysia. How about your country?

Interestingly, most people today, in some way will have enrolled in some Feng Shui courses or at least would have watched a lot of Facebook, You tube videos or joined some free sample courses etc.

Some even have learned from multiple masters and acquired many certificates over the years.

I would say almost more than 90% of the masters here advocate multiple disciplinary courses from 8 Mansion Feng Shui to Flying Star to Xuan Kong Da Gua to Dragon 8 gate ( Qian Kun Guo Bao), Yang Gong Feng Shui, San He, San Yuan Yuen Gua ( a form of Yang Gong), Golden Lock Jade Pass, San Yuan Na Jia and others. Others here including the non traditional Feng Shui methods such as Zi Wei Feng Shui, Bazi feng shui, Symbolic system, Naked Eye Feng Shui and even Qi Men feng shui etc.

Why Multiple Feng Shui Methods ?

The rationale behind is that if one system fails to answer what’s happening in the reality, then you may have another system that could possibly answer it or let’s say due to some physical constraint you could not place a bed here according to 8 Mansion, perhaps Flying Star or Yang Gong could provide some relief.

Is This True / Workable ?

Who Is A Feng Shui Master?

In these modern times the title Feng Shui Master has become even more vague and misleading. Why do I say so? To explain this, we need to go back in time to understand a little of the history.

Back in those days Feng shui masters were given different titles over the centuries of Chinese dynasties like Land form or geographical masters or Dili Shi (地理師) and in more modern times Feng Shui masters (風水師) . Their job was at that time, was to observe the skies and stars to make predictions or search for emperor burial lands as well as the overall energy of the palace.

The Emperor places so much emphasis on Feng Shui of their palaces and tombs and trust on them because they know, Feng Shui can change the outcome of fate of the kingdoms and the fate of their descendants and make their governance of a state much easier. This is because in the history of China, war was the only constant.

Why were they called Landform masters back then? This is because their main expertise is to search the land to find the spot of the best energy which they term it as the Cave or Xue 穴.

Annual Stars

In the study of 9 Star Feng Shui or more commonly known as Flying Star Feng shui, there is a change in star pattern every year. The diagram below illustrates the stars position for 2024 which is the year of the Wood Dragon 甲辰.

While this is not the most important aspects of Flying Star feng shui, their impact nonetheless can be devastating if no properly dealt with. Thus, we do recommend a yearly Feng Shui review if you want to stay on top of the game.

Those of you who had used San He / Yang Gong masters will not have such reviews because they are static feng shui unlike Flying Star which is a more dynamic feng shui. Even if you do a review with just Annual Stars, it makes no sense since you do not have the Natal Chart.

Application of Date Selection

Many a time people asked me about Date selection. Date Selection is a cultural believe that has been in the roots since many centuries ago. People in the past select dates for almost everything from marriage, move into new house, ground breaking, burial, setting the altar and so on.

Nowadays with the modernization and proliferation of Feng Shui, some masters have advocated extension to the this application to such as signing an contract, starting new job, re opening of new shop, installing new bed to weight loss and divorce.

But this is where the public is being confused. Let me briefly explain it here. Date selection is divided in 2 types:

  1. Personal Use
  2. Feng Shui Date Selection

Personal date selection is widely practiced is the use of Tong Shu. It is relatively simple for you can find a good date in every 12 days. This is confirmed ! This date is also very generic, meaning it suits majority of the people about 92%.

It basically means that on that day. 92% of the people will have good tidings. Can this be true?

Move In New House

I chanced upon this post in Chinese social media and thought maybe I can use this to educate the public and hopefully, I can bring in more senses to some of the people who reads this post.

These are just some of the cultural rituals that is being practiced since many generations in China and bought over here to Malaysia.

Here they will cross over the fire to discard the negative energy that they brought alone so only good ones will enter the house. This is just a folk believe. Why not do it everyday?

Symbolism In Feng Shui

Here is the translation:

There are new things in Fengshui every day. There is a female teacher in mainland China who cannot get married even in her 40s! His family was anxious, and she herself was even more anxious. She found a “capable” Qi Men Feng Shui master and he created a heaven canopy earth net formation, saying that in the next month, she would have so many boyfriends till she drop. (If you don’t understand, don’t ask me)

Ghost Month And Feng Shui

Over the years, I often get this question from clients and students over the significance of Chinese Ghost month and the Do’s and Don’ts relating to Feng Shui. I think it is about time I address this issue now.

Chinese Ghost month starts from the 7th Lunar month 15th to the 30th day of the month. This is when supposedly the ghost are released from hell and are allowed to wonder on earth.

However, this is just a legend or belief in the Daoist tradition. Of course over the centuries, there were stories where weird incidents happened and lives were lost during this period. Thus, over the centuries it became solidified into cultural belief.

The situation was further reinforced by the spiritual practitioners who also wants to foray into the Feng Shui industry. We classified these as Jiang Hu practitioners similar to street snake oil peddlers. Since they do not know the real techniques of Feng Shui, they can only sell stories to the lay people what they know best, spiritual stuffs.

WILL MY TICKET WIN?

Last month, there was a major lottery draw and it seems to have gained a bit of excitement around town. Not wanting to miss the opportunity for an early retirement, I joined the bandwagon and bought a ticket. Per the opening statement, curiosity got the better of my logic and I did a casting to see the chances of an early retirement after I bought the ticket.

Thus my question was: WILL MY TICKET WIN ANY PRIZE IN TOMMOROW’S LOTTERY DRAW?
