There are new things in Fengshui every day. There is a female teacher in mainland China who cannot get married even in her 40s! His family was anxious, and she herself was even more anxious. She found a “capable” Qi Men Feng Shui master and he created a heaven canopy earth net formation, saying that in the next month, she would have so many boyfriends till she drop. (If you don’t understand, don’t ask me)
Over the years, I often get this question from clients and students over the significance of Chinese Ghost month and the Do’s and Don’ts relating to Feng Shui. I think it is about time I address this issue now.
Chinese Ghost month starts from the 7th Lunar month 15th to the 30th day of the month. This is when supposedly the ghost are released from hell and are allowed to wonder on earth.
However, this is just a legend or belief in the Daoist tradition. Of course over the centuries, there were stories where weird incidents happened and lives were lost during this period. Thus, over the centuries it became solidified into cultural belief.
The situation was further reinforced by the spiritual practitioners who also wants to foray into the Feng Shui industry. We classified these as Jiang Hu practitioners similar to street snake oil peddlers. Since they do not know the real techniques of Feng Shui, they can only sell stories to the lay people what they know best, spiritual stuffs.
NOTE: As a general rule, utilising Plum Blossom Divination 梅花易数 for gambling or related purpose are not encouraged. Curiosity triumph over logic in this occasion for trial purpose.
Last month, there was a major lottery draw and it seems to have gained a bit of excitement around town. Not wanting to miss the opportunity for an early retirement, I joined the bandwagon and bought a ticket. Per the opening statement, curiosity got the better of my logic and I did a casting to see the chances of an early retirement after I bought the ticket.
Thus my question was: WILL MY TICKET WIN ANY PRIZE IN TOMMOROW’S LOTTERY DRAW?
This is another real story that goes back in 2020 when I started to do Feng Shui for Ms C. Soon after the completion her custom made ordered door has not arrived in time before the first lock down here in Malaysia (MCO) due to Covid 19. She had to endure 3 months of doorless house with just a ply wood plank covering it. She was so worried but what can be done but to ensure her there all will be fine. Past the the MCO as we transit to CMCO, the door was eventually fixed and nothing untoward happened during that time.
During this time Ms S and here husband Mr W was living in Ms C house and they were barren for last 6 years after the first child. Not long after the MCO lockdown, they were blessed with a 2nd child. Perhaps some people would attribute to the MCO when couples has nothing else to do and under such condition, they were able to bear the 2nd child. Its up to you to think what ever you believe since Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous. As a practitioner, I would attribute that in some way the new Feng Shui energy has helped them.
Fast forward a year later (2021), Ms C has reported better health and relationship with the husband. She has since retired after her fight with cancer couple of years back.
The New Apartment
Then in April 2021 Ms S and husband new apartment was ready and soon to collect the keys. Ms C who is the mother of Ms S, offered them as a gift to their new house, Ms C would engaged me to Feng Shui their new apartment.
Unfortunately, even after a long while, both husband and wife as adamant that they are not going to engage me after all. Of course, Ms C was upset with their decision and I told her not to pursue the matter further, perhaps it is their destiny.
The Trouble Begins
After more than a year into the new apartment, Mr W was diagnosed with a heart complication and he is only in his mid 30s. After the doctor gave up, they were referred to IJN (National Heart Center) in Kuala Lumpur for further treatment.
First operation was performed and stayed about 30 days in the ICU, the doctors declared it was not successful and needed a 2nd Operation to rectify it. After the second heart operation and about 40 days in ICU, still it was unsatisfactory. By now Mr W condition is turning quite bad. The doctors at IJN (the best malaysia has) told Ms S a 3rd operation was required or they can refer them to Singapore since there is a specialist there for this kind of rare heart condition.
This was between April to October of 2022.
Going To Lion Land
By Dec 2022, they went down to Singapore and after inspection, the doctors too wasn’t optimistic about his condition but to take or not take the chance since the survival rate was rather low. Furthermore, this operation will cost them a fortune and they have since exhausted the insurance coverage as well as personal savings from the ordeal.
For the love of the 2 young kids the couple decided to give it a try. They managed to get some charitable organisation to help fund the operation as well as donations from generous public.
After the operation and few weeks, he was discharged from SGH. By then it was already in the January of 2023.
The Return
They did the follow up wound treatment etc back in their hometown and things went by until everything has to be ended on 28 June 2023. The sad news reached me on that day.

Let me show you one typical example how or rather what is the difference between Fake and Real Master’s do.
I had a client who after 1 year of delaying, finally changed her office desk as covered by the audit report. I visited her office in early of April 2022 and has asked her to change the table before Feb 2023. Finally she only managed to table in early March of 2023.
One day one of her client visited her and she is medium in temple. In case you dont know what a Medium is, a Medium is a person who relates between the God and humans. They are not god not do they possess any spiritual powers but just the ability to receive some transmission of signals from the outer world.

Recently I met with a very sad case. Here is how the story went.
I met this lady back in September 2021 since they have bought a new house and she was referred by one of my old client. At that time they just signed the sales and purchased agreement and they have planned to change the house layout to a bigger layout.
She is not a feng shui believer but my client have told her how important is Feng Shui from their own experience. Thus probably with a bit of reluctance and taking a chance with Feng Shui she engaged me for this job.
It was a long process of renovation due to Covid-19 movement control, legal procedures, architect design, local authorities approval etc.

It has become the envy of mall operators in Klang Valley. However, there is another factor that this mall is famous for that is unique to Mid Valley Mall only and that is Fire hazards. Here is also another post back in 2019 that you can read when it last caught fire.
To date, if my memory serves me right, it has been 4 times with 2 being major. The other 2 was just minor fire in the center court (video below) and one in one of the restaurants outside but attached to this mall.
So this begs the question why seems that only Mid Valley has this issue but not other busy malls such as Sunway Pyramid, Suria KLCC, 1 Utama or even Pavillion Bukit Bintang? Not even the less busy malls in Klang valley has multiple times on Fire!

Firstly , met a sheng ji client and was sharing with me his progress in his career that went beyond both of our imagination. A very good pay offer. Literally, the sheng ji already paid for itself.
Secondly, the meeting took place at a restaurant that was done by my student back in 2019. Since then the restaurant business has enjoyed good business and also survived the pandemic. It is not a spike but rather a long trend of good business well over 4 years.
My client observed the restaurant for a while and he was surprised with I shared with him that was a feng shui restaurant done 100% using our system of Flying Star Feng shui.
How much ROI has the owner gotten over the 4 years?
Here is a tip, be an employee of a good feng shui company, every year you have bonus. Feng shui masters don’t have annual bonus. 🙂
Why was he shocked ? There were no elaborate feng shui features in the restaurant, the main door faced directly the back door, the cashier was below the beam no expensive renovations, no use of social media and bloggers yet he had to queue for a seat.
Client also added a remark that the same row of shops, most of them dont do well. Most of all he finally understood what is really Feng Shui.
With so many cases done with ONLY with Flying Star and XKDG for yin feng shui, surely it cannot be a fluke shot. The key is do you know how to use it or did you get the correct method.
That is the ART to how make a Feng Shui work well.

Today is Labor Day and this day is to commemorate the effort and labor of people who have contributed to society. Unfortunately, the a labor of Grand Master Yen Pen has been shadowed for many years and I am partially guilty for not posting up this earlier and this has allowed others to plunder his good effort for years.
Kek Lok Si Temple in Penang has been around for a long time since the British rule in Malaya back in the late 1800s. It was constructed between 1890 to 1905. You may read a bit about it’s history over the internet as there are many resources written about it before.
It is a very famous and prosperous place for a long time and hence it’s fame has attracted many Feng Shui masters and enthusiast to come study to see if it is related to Feng Shui in any way.
Over the past few years quite a few Feng Shui masters and his loyal disciples of the same kind, has touted their Feng Shui method has reign supreme over Flying Star Feng Shui. One example, they used was that Kek Lok Si temple has prospered till today was due to their system’s superiority and that only their system are able to explain the prosperity of this temple.
As to why they need to repeatedly mention that Flying Star system is not a capable system, I don’t know what is their personal grudges against flying star system. To me, when you have known the result of the place, all you need is some creative reverse engineering work to tally the theory to the outcome (good or bad). This is not difficult at all. It is standard industry practice by many aspiring masters.
Why specifically attack Flying Star Feng Shui? Why is there the need to attack other schools? Inferiority Complex ? Why not just proclaim to the world that their lineage is World No 1 ? I am sure there will always be a few loyalist who will believe to the core.
Many students tend follow blindly, they fail to understand that the real skill in Feng Shui is not based on hind sight logic (reverse engineering) but the master’s ability to built and set the formation and later the result comes as predicted during the infancy stage. This is how we do it in all our cases, just read the testimony that we have.
However, not many know that this temple once was having serious financial problems for a number of years and it was rescued by Flying Star Feng Shui. The master responsible for this feat is Grand Master Venerable Yen Pen who is truly a 9 Star Feng Shui system master. The 3 photos are just an extracts of the old diary of our grand master. It was mentioned “Looking at the sadness of the abbot, Master Yen Pen could not bear to see the abbot’s sadness so one morning he took his loupan and went to see the abbot and explained to him about the Feng Shui of Kek Lok Si and what has caused the temple’s predicaments. It was in the 1920s then and initially Venerable Yen Pen was reluctant to talk about Feng Shui to the abbot. Luckily, the abbot agreed to the suggestion of Master Yen Pen as to how to change the Feng Shui. The rest is history.
