As a Feng Shui consultant, I often get this question, when it comes to people planning to buy a new house; which direction is good for me ? or which direction is good feng shui?
This is a consequence of listening to too many folklore (9th grade) feng shui talks on You tube or Facebook etc….
As true practitioners of traditional feng shui, I sometimes find it quite annoying to keep repeating this over and over, so I decided to pen a few simple lines of advice here.
There Is No One Auspicious Direction
In Feng Shui, there are no specific direction or facing so to call it that is auspicious. This may be true for a 8 mansion practitioner but in real Feng Shui, any direction can produce good feng shui results. Don’t believe me?, do you own study around your area or country.
I can name you many good examples here in Kuala Lumpur in our Feng Shui class.
Good Direction For Me
In real feng shui, you don’t consider just yourself, unless you live alone or you practice selfish Feng Shui.
You also do not bother who is the bread winner to decide the house direction or facing to buy. These are not the main consideration. It is as if you make good income, careless what happens to your other family members?. If they do not do well in life, would you still be happy or consider yourself successful?
There are many layers and factors to consider in order to conclude if the house is of good feng shui potential or else. The first layer of consideration is the macro environment.
Thus finding a good feng shui place is not easy due to the many layers of criteria to consider and to meet.
Let’s discuss the first layer or criteria:
External Environment
The macro environment around the premise is the first clue if this house or office has good feng shui potential like if it’s going to have an A grade potential (which is super difficult) or B (good) or C (average) or outright fail D grade. I will only select anything B and above.
Then coupled with some other factors, only then we are able to decide if this direction/facing is good or not the Feng Shui.
Thus, any direction that meets these criteria, can achieve good Feng Shui for all family members that runs progressively over the years.
I hope this will help clear some myths surrounding the Good Direction or Good Facing for you.
World’s Best Kept Secret
As one of my student used to label me, the world’s best kept secret, I am truly humbled but at the same time, it clearly shows that majority out there had been fed with untrue knowledge and thus in time gives Feng Shui a bad name such as being a charlatan.
My student did not made this just to please me but rather from his experience after learning, doing & experiencing Feng Shui changes.
I met many feng shui enthusiast who went paranoid with Feng Shui, which I feel is totally unnecessary.
Let me assure you, yes, while the majority that may fit this word out there, there are still real, honest and good ones around. It is only your luck to discover one.
From years of observing and practicing Feng Shui, It is true that good feng shui is not for everyone. Do good and don’t be greedy, you will find good Feng Shui.
