Unlocking Accurate Predictions with Plum Blossom Divination

It was in November 2025 when we conducted another Plum Blossom Divination (梅花易数) class—one that stood out from the rest.

Not because of the content alone, but because it marked our first physical class after the pandemic.

After years of online sessions, the return to a face-to-face setting brought back something invaluable—live interaction, spontaneous questions, and the ability to test knowledge immediately. There is simply no substitute for that kind of learning experience.

For those unfamiliar, Plum Blossom Divination (PBD) is a system derived from the I Ching. It is known for its simplicity and accuracy, especially when compared to more complex systems like Qi Men Dun Jia.

Qi Men Dun Jia is undoubtedly powerful—but it is also demanding. It requires mastery over multiple layers: calendar systems such as Zhi Run and Chai Bu, as well as memorisation of Doors, Deities, Stars, and numerous formations like “Jade Girl Guarding the Door.” For many students, this complexity becomes a barrier rather than a bridge.

And this is something I heard repeatedly during the class.

Several students shared their past experiences—attending different courses, learning various techniques, yet struggling to produce consistent results. The problem wasn’t effort. It wasn’t dedication.

It was the lack of clarity and proof.

Because at the end of the day, no matter how sophisticated a theory sounds—
without results, it remains speculation.

Or as the saying goes:

When Theory Meets Reality

Towards the end of the class, we moved into a practical session—something that is far more effective in a physical setting than online.

We conducted a role-play exercise, and the students chose to experiment with the card method—one of several divination techniques taught in PBD.

Casting Image Zoomed Out

A question was raised:

“Will my General Manager leave by the first quarter of 2026?”

A cast was performed, and the divination was established—with the second yao (爻) identified as the changing line.

You can view the actual casting process here:

From there, I guided the students step by step—how to interpret the gua, how to understand the dynamics, and how to arrive at a conclusion.

The result was clear:

The General Manager would leave within Q1 of 2026 (January to March), either through a transfer or an amicable resignation.

At that point, it was simply a classroom exercise.

A prediction.

Nothing more.

From Prediction to Proof

On 19 March 2026, one of the students reached out to me.

The official announcement had just been made.

Plum Blossom Divination Proven

The General Manager was indeed leaving—within the exact timeframe that had been predicted during class.

What was once a learning exercise had now become real-world validation.

Why This Matters

This is not about claiming something mystical or extraordinary.

It is about demonstrating that when a system is:

  • Clear
  • Structured
  • Properly taught

…it will produce results.

Both Plum Blossom Divination and Qi Men Dun Jia belong to the same category—divination systems. But PBD stands apart in one key aspect:

👉 It is significantly easier to learn, yet still highly accurate.

There is:

  • No complicated software to rely on
  • No layered calendar systems to calculate
  • No long lists of Doors, Deities, and Stars to memorise

Instead, PBD works with the Eight Guas—simple in structure, yet profound in application.

A Different Standard of Teaching

What makes this even more important is when the prediction was shown.

The video was shared before the event happened—not after.

This is something rarely seen.

Most teachings rely on hindsight—explaining events after they occur. But true confidence in a system comes from the ability to demonstrate it in advance.

That is the standard we uphold at Art of Destiny.

Because authenticity is not claimed.

It is demonstrated.

Many people spend years learning different methods, yet still feel uncertain when it comes to real application.

Sometimes, the answer is not learning more—but learning the right system.
