This restaurant opened in Jan 2025 and enjoyed brisk business since Chinese New Year was just around the corner.
Restaurant Feng Shui Mistake Explained
The posh renovations could easily cost them a few hundred thousands but the sad part was it was ordered to close in early February 2025. When we passed by on 11 March, it was still closed.
The rental according to The Rakyat Post is RM45,000 a month not including other cost such as salary. By the looks of it, 90,000 is likely to fly but the figure will certainly be higher than this.
They have two restaurants with the first one in Aman Suria and it was a hit, so they wanted to expand to this second outlet but was hit with a snag. Why did it worked well there but not here?

Let’s leave the official reason aside because to me, there are plenty of non-compliance if you ask me around Subang Jaya area but let’s focus on the energy behind that lead to this snag. What is wrong with the Feng Shui?
First is the Date Selection.
The order of the Year and Month of the Stars are really bad when both the Year and Month has the star 3 as the center stars.
Many people select dates using Tong Shu which to professional like us, it is a kindergarten level date selection because it uses the 12 Day Officer and Dong Gong Method. Low level.
External Formation Error
They chose to layout the main door facing the T junction. However, it is not merely the T-Junction per se that is the problem but rather this is the indirect result of it.

Qi Flow Mistake
They have side entrance issue with they are activating the bad energy thus causing negative events to happen.

Reception Counter
Another mistake is the improper placement of the reception counter, which only worsens the situation.
This is a crucial element that many people overlook. Some simply place ancient coins, a lucky cat, money plants, or a money ship in the hopes of attracting more customers. It’s almost amusing—if it were that easy, I’d be out of a job by now, and no business would ever go under!
Let’s be realistic for a moment: These so-called “lucky” items are obviously not the true reason a business thrives or fails.
Kitchen
Finally, the kitchen is incorrectly placed in the North-Northwest sector of the premises, which is not ideal according to Feng Shui principles.
When key elements of Feng Shui, like the kitchen, are positioned improperly, they can absorb negative energy. Over time, this negative energy manifests in the physical world, often leading to issues such as a closure order, which ultimately results in the intended consequence—LOSS OF WEALTH!
Penny Wise, Pound Foolish: The True Value of Feng Shui
Many business owners fall into the trap of thinking Feng Shui is too expensive. They often overlook it until they encounter a setback and realize too late that investing in Feng Shui was, in fact, well worth it. The regret sets in, and they wish they had taken action sooner.
But how many truly understand Feng Shui? For many, it’s something you need to believe in. But that’s where the misunderstanding begins. Just like gravity, Feng Shui is a form of energy. Does gravity require your belief to work?
Now, regarding costs: A good Feng Shui consultation certainly won’t run you $45,000 a month. In fact, the better part is that the benefits can last for more than a decade.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that good Feng Shui will allow you to break the law. However, it can alert you to potential problems early—like a warning light—giving you time to take preventive action or streamline approval processes to avoid complications down the road.
This is just a case in point. For those of you running businesses, don’t let a simple misunderstanding cost you your hard-earned money.
